I was absolutely surprised when I read this news AND saw the trailer biggrin.gif

Trailer:

AND.

Alfonso Gomez
is the host thumbup.gif
Well, one of them I think. I'm betting Tony Jaa will only make a special appearance rclxm9.gif
And one of the producer (or director) is David Ismalone, Muay Thai's ex-World Champion.

Interview with Alfonso about his new task as the host --> http://www.mymuaythai.com/archives/alfonso...ender-thailand/

Yeah, I had already read that list of fighters when I googled for Muay Thai: The Contender biggrin.gif

But no worries if this is old (the planning actually started waay from end of last year January though), but the main reason that I brought it up now is because its gonna show NEXT MONTH! Can't wait for it thumbup.gif

I'm doing aikido, but I'm a boxing fan as well happy.gif

If you click and read SilentVampire's link, you can see there are no Malaysian. In fact, there are no Malaysian that has any good ranking in Muay Thai, in comparison to the selected fighters.

Hopefully any Malaysian that does Muay Thai to first build up their career & prove themselves either locally or at international level.
Maybe they will get a shot in a couple of years. Till then, we just have to wait.

Hmm, I remember seeing a few videos from youtube, a few malaysians are training, I think it is some competition. They kick and punch till bleed, there were some orang putih as well. I think they are coaches. Not sure if its muay thai, but it is similar to kick boxing style.

I like Rafik.
His arrogance and cockiness is also very cool.
Without him the show may not be as funny.

rafik: look at john wayne parr, he is 30 y.old , but he looks like 45 jhhahahaa.,

among all i think zach is kinda weak. i think his next fight he gonna lose.

naruepol leg kick to the head is fast but not as strong as shown,
not like cro cop. a bit off topic la haha.
