Does anyone has experience with buying Dell Refurbished Monitors?
From their Official Outlet Store (online?)
or
From shopee/lazada/lelong/mudah/carousell/etc.
mind sharing your experience with the product over the duration of the usage?
any faults/defects/condition of the items bought?
they offer 3 years warranty now, what does that really cover as compared to the new ones?
My sibling bought a 19" Dell monitor 2 yrs ago, now still good to use. Conversely, I bought it (also Dell, different model) on Shxpxx, 3 months warranty but Grade A condition. Also a nice to have experiecne. This make me to buy more than 3 times with personal online seller instead of the official ones.
The only differences is the
credibility . Purchasing products, elec devices especially, all are the same root - gamble....warranty doesn't meant to the condition, but the INSURANCE only.
I compared both warranty terms, all the same. Only if serious damage caused by the devices' condition, both will apply 1 by 1 exchange. If some particular damage caused by the devices' condition, personal seller usually will provide 1 to 1 exchange (if the product is a mid-low level model), while Dell will repair.
Depending on how you leverage the value, Dell sold thier warranty for RM100+ per year (depending on device type). Sometimes will provide door-to-door service (also depending on the device type) too, which is quite convenience compare to personal seller. Everything is written in the TnC. However, their pricing, in certain situation will let you able to buy 2 times from Personal Seller...
