tbh i have both android tablet and 2 ipad. android tablet is good if you need to use it for working devices, like reading or controlling wireless module which the ipad can't support. beyond that, i just use my ipad. my ipad air is already 8 years and still receive updates. As for my ipad pro 2020, its mostly my daily driver. tonnes of safari tabs, and other apps, it has not once slow down nor restart. if you want cream of the crop, get the M1 16gb, that's a whole new beast. but even with normal ipad pro its already good enough. i do video editing and rendering. measurements taking via lidar and so. battery is good, sound quality and true tone is well either. nextflix and other streaming service is a breeze. if you like hacked or free apps, android tablet would be a good choice. but i'm through with all those malware apps cause i do keep alot of sensitive financial stuffs in my tablet, thus i opt to pay for apps for future proofing and stability.

my personal advise, just get a used ipad. they last long. mine 8 years without any battery change. still holds its charge just like day 1.

A lot of app is iphone version which is not full screen. Example Shopee.

Any samseng tablet can use. 8" size shud be more than enough. Samsung tab a7 is good.

my ipad mini 4 (a8) still can update to ipados 15. so 5 years should still be ok.
