I’m gonna get mine from maxis this year. I just checked my contract and it expires on 5th October so I’ll most likely miss the pre-order and hope to walk in and get one on the 8th.

Mean chances are high if I pre order it right, they will just extend the two year contract?

My contract ends on 5th October but the pre-order is 1st October.. I’m gonna walk into a maxis centre this weekend to enquire if I need to pay off the penalty or if they can waive it, hahaha… wish me luck!

Ya, Nomad has generous offers on Black Friday - 40% off. Even after shipping and conversion still reasonable vs the local resellers here. That said though I’m gonna skip Nomad this year and probably try some other case I’ve not tried before - Mous or Rhinoshield.

From my experience, yes. Online also credit card is accepted - I would recommend to pay in full so you can speed up the process.

Last year I was the first 2 in line to collect from Mac City, the first person had issues with his balance payment so kena drafted to the side to ‘settle’ - I just took 5 mins to scan, pack and done. First to walk out of Mac City and everyone in queue all staring at me, funny experience.

Yeah that’s true. If my contract with Maxis didn’t expire last month, I would probably still keep my 12PM, but hey, its like almost a ‘free’ upgrade for me so its a no-brainer as my phone bills are covered by the company.

Yes, I can’t preorder online coz their system will flag my number as still having an “active contract” hence ineligible for preorder. But if I walk into their centre, they will manually waive this and I can sign up for a new contract. Or so I’ve been told
