I do feel the case is a little too thin though, not sure if it'll provide adequate protection jf you drop it from considerable height, but I think it's a pretty good case for the price.

Ya, I've not tried Mous before hence a little curious. But I doubt I'll go for the walnut one though, will most likely go for the carbon fiber one...

I bought two Nomad cases last year bro, one for my iPhone 12 and one for my wife’s iPhone 12 Pro Max so I think I’ll skip Nomad for now since I’ve already tried it Plus I’m kinda a “rough” user so the delicate nature of a leather case doesn’t go well with me, hahaha… the plan was to try either Rhinoshield or Mous this year but since I’ve gotten the Gear4 I can wait and see if there’s good promos later on - no hurry

Am also eyeing the Mous Aramid Fibre - but lets see if it gets significant discounts on Black Friday next month - although past history suggest that there won’t be much discount from them

If it’s prominent enough to bother you then I would suggest to visit a service centre right away, otherwise they may not layan you after a while as they might say you probably scratched it. Then again, I’m also not sure what they can do about it if you do go to them now coz it’s very unlikely they will provide you with a one-to-one exchange.

Mojo Skins? I got them to wrap my Apple Pencil 2 coz I found it a little too slippery for me. I think they have a branch at Pyramid as well but don’t remember if they have this clear type of wrapping or not though.

This is strange, I charge my phone to 100% every night and plug out before I go to bed and in the morning after 6-6.5 hours my battery remains at 100%. All settings left as it is but yeah, I have turned off background app refresh for the non-essential apps like Shopping and Social Media apps, but I leave the essential apps like messaging and such as it is. I know there’s a bit of software manipulation going on when the phone charge is at 100% (Apple has done this for years) but I’d be a bit concern if it drops by as much as 6% overnight. Probably update your phone to 15.0.2 and see if it helps.

As a point of reference I also have a Poco F3 which I’m using for work and I also fully charge it to 100% before I go to bed. In the morning when I get up the battery percentage is usually at 98% to 99%, all settings left as it is as well (granted I did remove a lot of Mi’s stock software that came with the phone to make the experience more tolerable).

I use an Apple Watch too but I’ve not noticed it causing my phone to drain battery though. But I don’t wear it to bed for that sleep tracking stuff - I just leave it at the charging stand after a full charge as well. Recently I have started to put the Watch in Flight Mode when I go to bed though - it drains like 7%-8% overnight if left as it is But even when I don’t put it to Flight mode, it doesn’t cause my phone battery to drop significantly when idle. So it’s interesting to read the experiences of others on the battery drain…

You could try a backup, reset and restore again after installing 15.0.2 and see if it helps.

Four days into my 13 Pro Max, I know everyone has been raving about the battery life but I think one aspect of it that has been flying underneath the radar of most reviewers is how unbelievably good the speakers are. I know audio output is subjective to personal taste and all that, but for me, this is the best I’ve heard from a mobile phone bar none. It’s loud, balanced, the mids and bass sounds just about right. Love it!

Yup, but it’s not just loud for the sake of being loud, the output does sound very, very good

Can’t blame the devs - remember this is the first iPhone with 120hz refresh rate - it’ll just get better with time but for now we’ll have to accept that not all apps will support the 120hz just yet. Android has had high refresh rate screens for years now and even their sub-RM1000 phones now at least have 90hz refresh rate.

Honestly if I'd have it all to do again, I'd probably pick Graphite over Sierra Blue. The blue shade is a little too subtle and lack a certain oomph for me, hahaha... Anyways, slap on a case and no one knows what color you picked unless you chose a transparent case or they look intently at your camera bump...

And yes, Samsung has been hitting my email with promos for the Flip and Fold too - every. single. day.

Ya, exactly. The only part exposed is the camera part if you're not using a clear case for folks to know the color.

Hahaha, yeah, it's probably just me. But my order of preference given all the new colors still remains Midnight green (11 Pro Max) > Pacific Blue (12 Pro Max) > Sierra Blue (13 Pro Max). Anyways, probably might go with Graphite next year and ignore the new color

The cheaper alternative is the Beats Studio Buds, but I read it won't switch between your iOS devices as seamlessly as the AirPods. Anyways, AirPods Pro do go on sale every now and then - cheapest I've seen is about RM8xx so if you can get some discount voucher codes or credit card deals, it could cost below RM800 which would be a good buy. I had a little scare with my own AirPods Pro just this week, but I'll share that in the AirPods Pro thread later

I think the event will just be for Macs, but hopefully got new AirPods Pro. 19th is a public holiday so we all can stay up late and watch the event
