So, yes, this is the best battery life on an iPhone, period. Achieved 10 hours screen time (plus another couple of hours music streaming) over a 48 hour period and the phone still had 4% battery remaining after two full days.

Day 1 14/10	Day 2 15/10

Some notes though: -

1. On both days above I was working from home, hence 80% or more of the achievement above is on WiFi, the remaining time would be when I’m out for my jogs or out buying food

2. I have another work phone which I use more for calls and messaging during the day, so I use the iPhone primarily to chat with friends, interact here on this website or watch some videos during lunch break or after work.

3. I leave all settings on at night, but DND is on from 11pm-7am. My alarm is set at 6am, on the first night when the phone was fully charged by 12.01am, it remained 100% at 6.00am, on the second day I went to bed with the battery showing 57% and when I woke up it was at 54% - with some messages in WhatsApp group chats.

So, yes, the 13 Pro Max is another phone to join our exclusive 10-hour SOT club, azhar75

Actually it kinda depends on your luck also because small town usually get less allocation of units compared to the bigger cities with higher demand as well. I was in a small town on the day of the iPhone 11 series launch and couldn’t get the 256GB Midnight Green Pro Max from maxis at that time as they didn’t have allocation.

I think tonight’s event is just Macs and the regular AirPods. I’m eyeing a MBP too… my 2014 MBA still runs great but will not receive MacOS Monterey or beyond. Will probably pass it to my son as he starts secondary school next year. I’ve been hesitant about the M1 MacBooks coz they no longer have Bootcamp. My MBA runs both macOS and Windows and it’s a great option to have. But I suppose the insane battery life of the M1 MacBooks is a good trade off and I suppose you can get Parallel if really need Windows.

I tried a friend’s WF XM3 and even that already had better sound quality and ANC than the AirPods Pro, bro. But in terms of comfort, the AirPods Pro wins for me. How about the XM4? Are they comfortable during prolonged usage?

Hey bro, the cheapo TGs at Ninjaz is a fingerprint nightmare - I wouldn’t recommend it. They do have a better quality one for about RM30++ and that one is pretty good. The oleophobic coating is pretty good on that one. If your friend wants a cheap one and don’t mind installing it himself, can try the one I bought from Shopee. It’s pretty good for just 10 bucks or so! That’s why I haven’t gone and install my Hoda yet

I bought this from Lazada. So far, so good. The magnet is pretty strong, can hold up my 13 Pro Max in its bulky Gear4 case - but bear in mind my case also has the magnet so that helps. Charging is fairly standard, I don’t think it reaches 15W but I just tried it once to test, don’t really need to charge the phone when I’m driving coz the battery life is good enough to last me a day even with light Waze usage here and there.
