Hey iPad Mini users, do you all take a lot of notes on your iPad Mini? If you do, especially those coming from a larger screen iPad, do you all face any issues with running out of space?

Nuh I'd stick to the car analogy. Lack of side charging and pressure sensitivity is a big deal for many, esp those who uses Apple Pencil to draw.

I personally think 500 definitely a luxury considering the alternatives.

Nasi lemak one can argue roadside nasi lemak can have more side dish compared to hotel nasi lemak at its price, in fact it might taste even better. But myvi definitely are missing some of the features more expensive luxury cars have that myvi definitely don't need, but good to have. Same goes to Apple pencil. It's the best in its class to be used with iPad, but not all needs everything they have to offer.

This is why I don't think nasi lemak a good example lo, because cheap nasi lemak can sometimes offer a lot more than the hotel could. It will make sense if the cheap stylus can offer more features than Apple pencil tho.

Quick question here, any of you use the Apple pencil with the iPad Mini? Coming from an iPad Pro with a fast refresh screen, I noticed then when I was writing on Notes at Machines yesterday, there was a significant lag. Just wondering whether it could be the demo unit that was on display or anyone has felt that as well? Especially those who came from the iPad Pro series. My main aim for the Mini was for writing notes, reading and pure portability.

Been a silent reader here and thanks to everyone's input. Finally, Got the mini ipad 6 to replace my mini gen 2 😜. Purchased it from IT World on Lazada as they were having a little discount and also because Apple will only be able to send it sometime in late Feb- early March.

Didn't want to spend rm549 for the pencil but purchased the GooJoDoq. Works very well except that it auto off at times. It was between this GJD or Switcheasy..though Switcheasy was is about rm300 on Amazon.

Got the Japanese paperlike screen protector from Lazada - liking it so far.

Still waiting for my cover to arrive.

Reason I got it is to have a digital planner and to start on my digital Journaling. Plus I do some sketches for my little biz.

Was using iPad Pro 11 2018 before changing to iPad mini 6…

Traded in IPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb to contra the price….

I agree on the display being below par (especially for the price Apple charges), but until the new 'FaceID with Mask' feature makes it to iPadOS, I consider TouchID a superior authentication process. That's one area I think the Mini got it right, since it's more portable and will spend more time outside for many users compared to the larger iPads.

By the way, how is the battery life for Ipad Mini 6? I read a comment here saying it will drain very quickly compared to normal iPad...

Don't have the UGreen, but I love my Goojodoq, price-wise  as well as the battery life. Low pencil-user here too. 

I see. I'm thinking whether to sell Ipad Pro 11 2021 to get Ipad Mini 6. Ipad Pro battery life is as great as my Macbook Pro 2020. Maybe because of M1 chip... Ipad Mini 6 is only
A15 chip.

How about the speakers of Ipad Mini 6? Is it good to be music player? Ipad Pro is great with 4 speakers, very loud, but I still think Macbook Pro speaker is better than Ipad Pro. When I attend online class, the voice from lecturer from Macbook Pro is nicer and more immersive then Ipad Pro. It helps me to concentrate better if I use Macbook pro for class.

Guys how is the experience from watching movies on the ipad mini. Is the screen too small till it make the movie experience not enjoyable or is it OK??

I did, and I am using my Mini more than my Ipad Pro. The size really matters.

I'm currently using iPad Pro 9.7 inch (2016) and thinking to update to iPad mini or new iPad Air

Any thoughts bout going from 9.7 inch to 8.3 inch? how bout the issue on the jelly screen? I use portrait mode almost permanently

I mainly use my iPad Pro for youtube, games and web surfing at home. With the silicone case on, the iPad is quite heavy to me when holding for long time.

p/s: It's also an option to tell me just remove the silicone casing and use the iPad Pro naked too
