Try to visit notebookcheck.net and look for the iPad Air 4th gen (2020) review, because aside from size I think that's probably the closest to the Mini 6 in terms of panel quality. They have a "Display" section in the review where you can find a chart listing stuff like Contrast, Black Level, AdobeRGB coverage, Gamma, etc, comparing it to other tablets. You can use the small search box below the chart to add the iPad Mini 5 for comparison, or any other tablet they have tested. Should give you a better idea on how they compare.

Hi guys. New here to ios. So i noticed the new ipad mini will come with usb C. My question is can it detect if i use any usb C otg pendrive to transfer files like video and documents and is it as easy as copy and paste?

If yes then probably plan to buy just the basic 64gb.

If its like ipad pro yes. However their copy paste feature sucks, not even a progress bar. You just keep it open until they say they are done.

Works with any iPad with USB-C, not just the Pro. Only difference is the Pro models support up to Thunderbolt speeds while Air and Mini support up to USB 3.1 speeds.
With Lightning port iPads you can also perform file transfer if you have a Lightning-to-USB dongle (or those dual-sided type pendrives), but I believe you're limited to USB 2 speeds (though I could be wrong).

She uses it to conduct class and draw.

I was thinking earlier this year, okay maybe it's time for a new ipad. I've been on Ipad Mini 3 with useless 16gb storage space for like maybe 5 years+.
But thinking, okay, maybe a new one will come out this year, how about we wait patiently...

The thing is, with the Iphone 13, they actually announced "Hey, preorders start on 1st October". That way if one was interested, they can go about their merry lives and then come back fingers poised at midnight 1st October and preorder the heck out of it.

Yeah, I agree with the "is this it" feeling.

Seems like there is a delay as shared above..

I posted that link yesterday also, actually, but someone else said seems the only delay so far in SG is for the popular purple coloured units.
But looks like it lah. I guess demand is a lot higher than expected, suddenly everyone is hyping about "the biggest change in years" and "better than a Ipad Air" that kinda thing, I'm seeing a lot of people who never planned to get one suddenly deciding they must have one too.
Added to the fact that apparently there's a general chip shortage worldwide (not confirmed).

I'm OK with any colour honestly but not Space Gray la, I'm bored of it already. It seems the delay has something to do with Space Gray.

True. Perhaps for this new Mini, people see that it's a worthy refresh after a while now and it feels that it's a must have really but in the end it would feel the same as any other recent iPad would give except for the smaller form factor.

It happened last time with the iP12 series but Apple made huge, confirmed orders for these chips way before the release date of their products. The delay wont be as bad as other tech stuff. Some slight delay might be to production issues instead of chips shortages for Apple.

Correct but I'm a Mini fan, so I have been waiting for this update for so long...
