Depends on how old you are! If you are nearing 40s, then forget it because you're gonna need glasses soon anyway.

If you are in your 20s, go for it. Its probably the best thing ever.

I do suffer from dry eyes after lasik (started roughly 10 years after lasik) and have to lubricate once a day. If your speciaiist thinks that you may suffer for dry eyes after lasik, then you need to consider whether you can put up with using eye lubrication.
