When I drove out after delivery & experienced the LKA feature.... Straight away I turned it off as I found it quite intrusive for a season driver. I assumed that somewhat attribute to faster steering rack issue pop up.
For the product recall, don't worry if you haven't receive as it may come in batches. You can still report to HM if you're experiencing the infamous issue and request for checking & possible replacement.
Me too, have that off since getting delivery, also still no steering rack issue but car will be 2 yrs by May with less than 30k km mileage
Anyone added external cvt cooler if yes which type, shop and cost?
Have been reading and getting conflicting views ie some workshop adv to get with adapter or and the install will be direct between transmission and external cooler without going thru the radiator but will be costly.
Another will be to trans to radiator to external cooler then back to radiator then end up into trans. This option is cheaper as there's no adapter needed.
Some say better to install, but i think those ppl tot civic is racing car and drive 1 like it everyday then can install. but if not always driving 160km/h or hard acceleration. Ori Should be suffice.

just trying to save you money and potential warranty hassle. you can consider those digital gauges that run to your obd or bluetooth obd that pairs with your phone. it should give a transmission temp readout. if higher than 110C then only install lo. you also don't want to run too cool as transmission fluid is designed to operate at around 95C-105C to burn off moisture. don't fix a problem that doesn't exist. shops just trying to sell you products
Totally understood the opinions shared. However all my rides so far come with trans cooler either stock fro factory or added. Hence as mentioned precaution measure to prolong the lifespan especially the Honda cvt has bad reputation

A 4G15 199x year Proton Iswara 3 speed auto shares cooling with car radiator running on coolant What makes you think a 2022 Civic FE, well over 20 years of automotive engineering later, that its CVT didn't come equipped with any cooling?
Nowhere did I mentioned the cvt is not equipped with any cooling… am only asking what’s the best option to add additional external cooling

Want to check the original tyre size is 235/40/18. Has anyone tried changing the size? More for comfort and to reduce noise.
Hi Sifu here. Plan to change new tyre for my civic fe. Looking at quiet and comfortable tyre possible good grip. Currently might target for michellin primacy 4. Any review of this tyre whether fit to civic fe? Or anyone is already using it mind to share your experience? Thanks!

Yeah, the turn of the sterring is not smooth and it is harder to stay on the lane. Additionally, got this problem now where lane assist, collisions, and auto high beams are malfunctioning
Curiosity… do u faced the same when the car is clean especially with the front sensors?
I am in the same boat, I claim my steering rack once, been almost a year. The issue never resurface. Lately I receive a notice to sent my car in for a product recall to replace the steering wheel. So I am a bit scared to sent in, afraid after replace I will get the dreaded steering wheel issue.....
I didn’t had steering issue but upon receiving pud, went ahead to change. Regretted cos a month later I was hit with the issue. My advise if it’s ok, ignore the pud notice especially on steering rack until everything stabilise
