My car got hit and am claiming insurance for it. Anyone has any experience with Honda 4S center which does a good job with body & paint?

Not too sure where to send to. The sarjan connected me with his connection in Honda PJ (Section 13) but I found that they are just 3S and don't have an in house bodyshop.
*
Tbh just so so. Even they come out with 1 month warranty, when push for that, told it is already acceptable by Honda QC. This my experience with Sg Long Honda body and paint for accident repair.

The new rear bumper was not installed with "great" alignment and they taici said it the best, nah sent it to normal paint shop, it 1 hour done and ok back as before.

Claimed all those things yet not solved
*
Normal HM SC. Past experiences, Global Amity Bangi SC helps me for weird problem faced, especially the rattling inside door trim, behind the gear lever area, and mine was solved. And I done claim warranty many times for driveshaft here without any questions asked.

But not sure now ok or heading backwards cz last send SC was at early 2020

Where do you stick rfid on your civic?

I sticked mine in windscreen but always failed to  be detected
*
I send both my car to Mines Rfid centre where they got the installer and he will test it via reader device b4 paste it. Sedan car, at windscreen where's for suv, he put it on the left headlamp. 100% success rates so far but for weekdays, festive season holiday, Smart tag lanes faster than RFID (different topic)

Autobuzz or Eugene reviews cars for a living and I see that he / they have nothing bad to say about bad cars.
The real question should be who reviews their reviews for a living?

Here is a non exhaustive list of people I don't trust:
People who review cars just to make content and clicks. And then they have no other apparent job other than that, then their job is more like a freelance car salesman.
PauTan
TaiC.Yee
Autob*zz
B*bbyAng
automachy
yskhang
msiamotoring
...the list is long

Here is one that dare to tell you or at least hint you:
The Piston Show

But refer my question above. They are all fallible. Consider ALL of them actors in a TV show just saying things according to script. They do not reveal the script writers so assume the script comes from people who will benefit from them IE vendors.

For the case of Honda malaysia cars, remember that the CBU Speccing is actually different from US / International (Which you can sometimes trust their reviews because some of them plain condemn a car for 30 minutes straight). Most obvious is the sound proofing. Next is airbag design. If any International spec car is as loud as the local Civic it will be outright called out.

And the second part which is dangerous to your life is Honda Malaysia rejection of warranty and safety related defects - Steering rack. Worldwide recall upside down, Malaysia one will say no issue. Reject your claims and ask you to risk your life on the road. Good 6 months after the issue blow up they will silently say there is an "update", and then 3 months later only then the RTD will repeat the same thing for good measure.
*
from what I recall, all local YouTubers, personal or company, are not brave enough to criticize any car given for reviews. Worst, Continental give them 4 new donuts, they praise that junk tyres as good as Michelin PS series but at lower price. This was started since UC6 era, MC6 era, where in truth, both model tyres just don't have wet tyre grips vs other good branded tyres, but they keep on saying only great thing for both tyre model. In FB on personal as well as Car Group, many shared the same situation for both UC6 and MC6 for wet traction, where both are Poor, it just not grip, only cons is quieter and dry ok. Now if u watch local Youtubes, they play the same game for UC7 and MC7, cz Continental Malaysia sponsored them new donuts, lol.

same feedback for cars, years ago they praise Preve CVT lazy tuning as European feedback lol. Like u need to press 60% of the pedal to make it move, until many complaints they do sort of TCU software update.

from FB, at FE car group, got few complaints even after the latest recall (cheap recall, just taking excess grease and put it to worm gear area), the sticky feeling of steering is returning.

They need a proper permanent fix solution than just 'top-up' grease solution as offered.

Yes but I didn't think it would account for such a drastic change in fuel consumption.

But the other poster above may be right about driving style and routes. I drive fast, but hardly need to brake when you also anticipate what lies ahead well. So perhaps my wife is different (lol).

Both the 10th and 11th gen using the same hardware based engine of 1.5T L15B7, where the 10th lack of i-vtec system but 11th got it. My theory, they need to put more performance number of hp/Nm for newer model, 180hp, 240nm, hence putting i-vtec make it there, but taking a bit of FC. From my reading at their FB group, many owners complaint for City driving FC about 8.8-10.5km/l (KL area owner with massive jam) but once hit highway can get up to 16-17km/l.

Considering to trade off my mazda 3 BM for the civic FE Facelift but i do aware that the steering rack is an issue other than that any other issues? So far my 10-year 278k km Mazda doesn't have any major issues except lower arm but that has already been addressed. Still drives good and all parts are still original fitted since day 1. Not sure is a good decision or better to hold off for other cars. Im considering a better power upgrade and since the new Mazda 3 uses same engine so meh...any comments? or feel like sharing?
*
Join the FE FB group, many letgo theirs at an attractive price (since carsome, used cars take much lower prices to them). If u willing to try, the steering rack issue, maybe you can find a permanent solution apart from SC, maybe a steering rack restore shop can setel this.

I changed my steering rack 2 times within a year and half
The first time after changed, problems came back like half year later

The second time I changed it, have been close to a year now
Everything is fine, not sure is it they figured out due to the greasing issue.
*
I think the latest recall, which via a grease top up are just months ago. Maybe best if u ask SC for ur turn to get the grease topup

Yes I also noted on that, but my second time change last significantly longer
Wonder is the grease approach can settle the issue permenantly
*
I did follow the FE facebook group, the facelifted FE owner complained about the rack issue again after some time. I believe the facelifted use the latest recall practice with a grease top up but from reading, it looks like it's not a bulletproof solution.
