Had an issue just now with the walk away auto lock not activating. Instead there’s some rapid beeping. Checked and confirmed that

1. Engine was definitely off.
2. All doors/boot were closed.
3. Key was not in the car.

Any other reason that auto lock won’t activate? Anyone faced a similar issue before? Will mention this to the SC when doing my service in 2 weeks time

I encountered this issue as well. The key was with me & I walked away with the key first out of the range whilst the doors of passengers still opened. The walk away auto lock did not activate after all the doors closed & waked away from car. Not sure if the person holding the key must wait all door closed b4 walk away.

Hi @isr25 have u encountered any issue with the infotainment system after activating Wireless Android Auto? E.g. unit system or the Honda Connect app crash?

Will your Civic FE auto make steering wheel stiffer when driving on higher speed & feel like abit resistance when moving the steering wheel? If this is not a feature then I think my car kena the infamous steering wheel issue.

One thing I notice is that it will not drive in straight line even though just 1 month old. All stock condition no modification.

I wanted to try checking tyre alignment at normal tyre shop first b4 going to SC check if steering rod issue. If I do tyre alignment outside SC, will it void steering rack warranty?

I tot that is normal for motor assist steering wheel? High speed will stiff so u have more control. If normal hydraulic steering is when high speed will get lighter, low speed is heavier.
*
But how about the car tend to pulling to left when driving on straight line? Given my car is just one month old not sure if it is normal. Can tyre alignment run so fast? No hard knocking on pothole so far but have been driving on a short stretch of uneven tar road coming out/going into my Taman area with low speed. Touch wood so far no steering tok tok sound yet.

Hi guys for FE V spec I find that when using Android Auto for Waze , Bluetooth connection to phone will be disabled. Do u have same experience? Can we adjust setting to use Android Auto & Bluetooth connection at same time? E.g using Waze & phone app Zoom/Skype call through car speaker at the same time?

my steering was having sticky feel and tuk sound...

2 days ago for the first time i try ECO mode.. i dont know what happened but the sticky feel steering gone.. tuk sound also softer..

not sure whats happening, but eco mode does not change steering feel right?

my previous k3 2.0 can change steering stiffness mode (comfort, normal, sports), but it does not change engine response

Time to claim steering rack..dangerous to drive at high speed with sticky steering

I read some people commented in fb that you can record the video and show to SC so they can straight approve the claim. Not sure it's true or not but at least you can try it.

I'm into my second month, I dare not drive often now because need to drive it back during cny... now buy new car also need to look at calendar and be careful like having period... that's a BIG trade off buying civic.
*
That's also my concern ..need to drive long distance on highway during cny..very scary experience when travelling at high speed with the sticky steering
