never really sat in upper class car before lol. but my fren drove honda accord last gen pre-facelift, said my car is better in terms of engine refinement and power, even space wise also similar. probably accord less road noise and wind noise la haha.

but comfort i think still accord, because the civic seat is..... u know i know lol.

My Bro in law has a Gen 10 Accord. I think for comfy, it is still a bit better than Civic. His leather seats are plush, my E-spec is hard like sport car. Suspension, I think Accord is tuned a bit soft but both also ok.
You have not tried with a extremely L sized individual I think. My family has 1 6ft2,100kg and one 5ft9 120kg males. Accord FTW no question.

Maybe send to workshop that can refurbish the rack to be as new, by changing all the worn out/ damage parts. I read somewhere in FB, got workshop already able to provide that service to most car brand. Instead of spending huge fees for brand new rack

Good news is SA told me Honda has extended the warranty on Steering rack to 7 years also for FE. Bad news is you gotta keep paying them another 2 years of in house service. Lol.

Yes, I'm well aware it is not manufactured by Honda. But it will be considered as OEM. So bears all Honda design and marks, if it was a pure vendor side manufacturing issue then it is not difficult to solve, it is a design issue then it is more difficult to solve.

But remember the North American version also affected with sticky steering so it leads me to speculate this is not just a manufacturing error. Unless you say the same part from same vendor from same site is being used by 2 plants - NA and Malaysia....which leads us to be even more confused as to why Malaysia version is recall-free.

Anybody updated their Android on the car infotainment? Is there a need to update?

Aight, cause I was messing around with the settings and I saw that it can connect to a wifi and also the update button is not greyed out, so I assume that it can be updated. Not too sure if it needs Honda specific update or general Android update will do.

Is this the steering clicking noise issue?

Actually I was still driving the old Accord up until a month ago. It has always amazed me cause that windscreen has gotten whacked by alot of things including rocks the size of marble at high speed but with a small chip. The Civic got hit by smaller rocks also lubang d.........haih.....and so fast got micro scratches when using the wiper, already careful to let the rain wash the dust before using the wiper but still kena.

Hi bro, do you mind to share which SC that you go? For this issue, does it happen whenever you turn to left or right or both? It's like ticking sound, can hear like it ticks 3-4 times if made a full turn?

I got mine diagnosed and SA mentioned that it's caused by the steering rack and they have ordered the replacement steering rack kit, perhaps around 2 weeks to 1 month. I'm afraid the ticking sound still persists after they change it and might be caused by the issue you mentioned (misalignment of airbag spring module).

Abnormal Noise from steering while turning

About time. Lately I’m starting to experience the sticky steering issue as well (45k km on mine) and honestly judging by comments here its only a matter of time before it hits. Seriously don’t feel confident taking corners anymore because the steering isn’t precise and quite frankly an accident waiting to happen..

Im not put high praise for Made in Thailand part, from past experience with Brake pad. For engine mounting, also same for made in Thailand quality, ok for few months then return back the issue

Me too, have that off since getting delivery, also still no steering rack issue but car will be 2 yrs by May with less than 30k km mileage
