I read some people commented in fb that you can record the video and show to SC so they can straight approve the claim. Not sure it's true or not but at least you can try it.

Tuk sound occasionally when car not moving.

yup. new rack in June... last month started show symptom...

normally will be tuk sound when stationery... after that will be sticky feel on highway in future.

if it happens again for the third time, this car has to go.. basically wasting my time only

They have been having juddering problems since the early 2000s. It was a very famous problem with the Accords back then. They even had a recall to change the pads to the Japanese made ones which solved it. Most if not all the brake pads are either from Thailand or somewhere else and different from the ones they can get from Japan.

I've used aftermarket pads after my warranty with them back then. Never had problems with juddering after that. You can try to source Nissin Japan parts, I believe it will solve it as well.

Is it normal for my civic's aircond to only start getting cold few minutes after starting the car? Or should it be instant? Also feels it only gets cold when driving at higher speed

Yeah, I was wondering did anybody do any special breaking in cause I just couldn't resist the drive on the highway. It was so seamless when overtaking and also hitting 160km/h without me knowing easily. Did not go above 3.5k rpm and no WOT so I guess I should be okie.

This is what Bermaz been doing for years. Keep asking owner to put Mazda Fuel additive bottles after sometime. Their engine is GDI as well, not dual Port + GDI. Not sure if that bottles is FOC (5 years free service) or they ask customer to add on

I changed my steering rack last year. This year come back for second checking. Honda needs to put steering rack in their periodic maintenance for wear and tear parts. Lest say 6month interval needs to change steering rack. Lol

Don't know what is the price of steering rack after warranty?

The fact that it happened to most current honda models?

My two years old civic almost 42k km, touch wood so far no issue yet

Did chit chat with the SC office last timer, they say most civic got steering rack issue because they change the rim size
...but of course this is their one side story.

So far my only issue is the car seat really uncomfortable in long distance drive.

Wah....3 times....scary oih,  sorry for bad experience. And think must have consumed a lot of your times by keep sending it back for checking and repair.

after i drive eHEV and back to drive the 1.5T civic, the refinement is really day n night diff lol. power delivery is also smoother, at my kampung place there is no much highway stretch so it is quite zippy to move around.
