Also, the displaying cars around you is only valid on models with blindspot monitoring, so that feature is crippled on eHEV Civics. My next car will require BSM, if Honda still doesn't/won't implement this, I'm saying goodbye to the brand.

honda thailand version got BSM? because i see thai one also can see car around, or probably is car detected at front la. dunno y honda malaysia don wan BSM lol, i tot alot brand having this features.

I asked my SA, she said BSM is not useful for her as he felt the owes lit up yellow light make her feel anxious lol. probably depends on personal preference, because if i switch lane i always do quick glance and not rely on just side mirror, probably old man style driving la. i prefer to have it because of the RCTA, tat thing more useful la for normal driver. rear camera for me is just to gauge the distance only.

booked the hybrid yesterday, first time ordering a car without knowing the price and final specs! if the final price is not worth it will just switch to the RS. Sales person expect the launch by this month but car delivery maybe 2-3 month

Doing a quick calculation on "making eHEV worth it" - let's make a few general assumption:

1. Turbo Civics can go 12km/l
2. eHEV Civics can go 20km/l.
3. Price of RON95 maintain at RM2.05/L
4. Price difference between Turbo & eHEV does not consider cheaper interest rate and higher insurance cost for eHEV.
5. Price difference between Turbo & eHEV is RM15,800 (RS Turbo vs RS eHEV)
6. Assume you drive 20,000km / year

It takes 11.6 years to break even / basically you need to drive 232,000KM for it to break even with the above assumption. This is not even calculating the cost of changing battery which warranty only lasts 8 years.

Obviously, only get eHEV if you like the features / like the power for hybrid / want to support cleaner engine / in anticipation that RON95 will go up in price - if RON95 goes to RM3.00/L, it will take 7.9 years (158,000KM) to break even.

I think the new city is ignite red. Still contemplating either white or red 😂 SA keep push me white lol but i feel the front nose if look from front weird if white haha

is it? because white i worry to ah beng-ish lol. white looks good with body kit la. maybe if i still young late 20s i would choose white no need think but now i 30s+ feel like grey more subtle and professional look    tough choice haha. i do really love white color tho, as in i prefer white shoes over black and white clothes over black. i don hate dark color, really love this kind darker grey shade like titanium grey. does civic grey looks something like mazda machine grey? tat color really nice... feel like mazda painting dept do better job than honda..

To me its good to always switch brands. Before I had Suzuki, VW, proton, and now honda. life is too short to just stick with one manufacturer, fun to experience new type of cars!

I am finding all the reason why this car is for me. Even nitpick especially the SEATS. You guys can see me bringing up the seats all the time. 

Its the seats holding me back.
