im having a hard time deciding between HELP Academy and Sunway KL for A-Levels
fees are not really an issue but i would still like to be able to get a good scholarship regardless

id like to know how the lecturers/facilities are + how online classes were (hopefully i wont have to deal with that but i want to know just in case sweat.gif )

im planning on taking bio, chem/phys and maths, though i might change my mind later on

feedback is appreciated smile.gif thanks

- HELP Focuses on EdExcel A Levels > Cambridge A Level. They offer both EdExcel and Cambridge.
- Sunway will be the better option if in terms of lecture notes and resources, if you gotten the right lecturers.
- Go stick with 3 subjects, if you don't like reading. Drop Biology, if you don't feel like reading subjects. [This subject is mentally daunting in A2]
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be sufficient to enroll to all types of courses.

You want study Med, Mathematics not required.

- Semester 1/2 will be focused Paper 3 Practical so recommend go back uni for lab.

To be honest, in the area of A-Levels. Both universities would be recognized. In fact, any university that offers A-Levels are recognized. This is because A-Levels is an externally assessed qualifications conducted by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). There are two types of A-Level programmes in Malaysia, Cambridge A Level (administered by Cambridge International Examinations) and Edexcel International Advanced Level (administered by Pearson International).

Both are external exams - thus all A-Levels are equal in terms of quality and recognition.

What is DIFFERENT is the preparation for exams and the quality of teaching. Both these factors has an impact on how well students are prepared for the examinations.

It's like comparing the level of SPM between various schools. SPM is standard. But different schools have different quality based on the teachers and class you are in.

Both equally good. But do NOT take the March intake. Either start early in Jan or start later in July. March is too cramped to score full potential. I regretted my own decision to do March intake, even 15 years later. tongue.gif

You wanna do med so the good grades are important. Myself not a very great student then, nothing great on results of A levels, but because of the strength of A levels Edexcel cert (I'm from HELP) it easily got me into business or engineering courses.

While personally I would tend to agree based on my own biasness as my kid studied there.

But out of curiosity and also for knowledge purposes - why do you think so? And in terms of what factors? If you do not mind me asking.
