im still stuck fighting boss in chapter 3... damn the big face silver boss make me angry.... how to defeat this fuking thing.... ?? using bow & arrow.. but still cant... arhhh damn...

The thing is the difficulty scales unbelievably as going chapter by chapter... i felt the maybe i should go warrior when i played at acolyte chapter 1, then around chapter 3-4, i felt maybe i better stick to acolyte, then chapter 7-8 i felt luckily i play acolyte, then now chapter 12 i felt why there is no easier difficulty... hehe

For chapter 3 boss, just stick to arrow. Shoot it from afar, make sure it hits the face. Don't take your chances, during charging arrow, if u see the thing starts attacking, dodge immediately. Position yourself nicely before charging arrow, make sure u r facing the thing. The small electric balls atk is easy to dodge, the fish atk u can ninpo or hit real fast and precise, the blue face atk just stick to the wall and jump around.

Try the harder level then only talk

I believe you haven't reach further in the game YET ... the we will start talking is acolyte mode really easy ... or its more like hard already .. Btw, this game is all bout countering and the correct skills to do in the situation ... so far .... i am still getting my ass kicked by normal monster than bosses ... annoying bomb shurikens ! damn u ! why in the world do u create such weapon !!!

still didnt play this game no money la... but reading the post here make me really want to get it soon....

Me also thinking to spend my time with this game until the euro game start, but everytime reach the time my head start fishing, i let the tv watch me at the end.
Back to the topic, anyone have bought the weapon from the oldman shop, i still dint buy any weapon from the shop yet, it is if i buy it, it will upgrade my weapon lvl??

Yea of coz, you'll buy the weapon @ lvl1, then you'll be able to upgrade it.

Exploding shuriken, exploding arrows, macross-style missile launcher, teleporting ninja tat shoots 20 fireballs at a time, uh... sometimes i feel like if the lcd and controller are not expensive, i'll definitely smash them on each other...

I purposely wait till this game come out secondhand and buy it. I cant afford break the disc in two and realizing that i bought it brand new hahahahahaha

currently playing warrior on level 4 fighting the freaking giant boss.

Everybody please bow to my awesomeness! My first acolyte playthru nets 75 deaths! Muhahahaha! The 100 continue achievement is not far le, either one more time acolyte or 2 chapters of warrior

Argh and i freakin missed the DS weapon master achievement... must have accidentally killed some minions during boss fight, sob... i only used the scythe to slash 90% of boss hp then use back DS to finish them off...

Anyone have any idea to finish the bonus stage at chapter 5, i have die almost 20 time there, try all the weapon, try repeat kill the wolf first or the flying monster first... also cant beat them..... i m fxxxing weak............

I stuck in chapter 14 last boss . Still no clue how to kill the last boss damn..........

Hehe i think half of my 75 game over happened during the last boss, 10+ times first stage, then about 20 times second stage Once you died enough times to learn how to dodge all its attacks, it'll be easy. Just don't rush it, try to learn how to anticipate and dodge first, then plan how to kick its butt.

If you feel hard at chapter 3, your coming road will be more terrible...., advise you to buy some insurance for your TV + controller, coz you might smash them accidently...
Im at chapter 10 now and have been cursing around...

any1 tried the test of valor? i've tried searching for the rod 2 lit the candle. the guide says it will appear on chapter 2 and when there's a cutscene saying "the candle has lit". is it at the shrine where you get the claw weapon? coz i've been killing all the ninjas there and waited but there's no cutscene or whutsoever. there's a locked room which says the relic room where i can't enter.
