600cc terus don't waste your money with overpriced 250cc. Later nak jual balik pun susah harga jatuh teruk.

600cc lah...

250 is ok if you are getting your very first bike, as in TOTALLY NEVER ride ANY bike before then you can use the 250 as training. but if you already can handle clutch bikes even a kapchai like y15, then getting a 250cc is a waste of money as you'll quickly outgrow the bike in 2-3 months time.

600cc

250c is just so slow and overpriced, performance wise not much diff with 150cc and the maintenance/running cost also similar to >500cc bike...might as well jump to straight for 600cc

those that said to start learn with 250cc, obviously never ride....250-600cc ride and handle similar...unless u going for track

been there, done that

yeah then go for anything above 40hp then if you wanna feel a good difference. cb650, mt07, ducati monster/scrambler etc.

doesn't necessarily need to be supersport (you can if you have the money)

600cc, knowing you have Y15 then you are familiar with the clutch system. 250cc is no fun, you'll eat smoke from a modified 150cc as they are fast as you, some might be even faster. 600cc? 1st gear already 140kmh.

as long as you don't think you're rossi and main baring just go for 600cc. slowly drive the bike first. get used to it.

no need to change in the future.

also assuming 600cc is no problem financially

I tried the 200c then 650cc before after getting my B full license.

Recommended, but not compulsory for you to get the 250cc.

Power wise- yes there is a gap. But i dont think its significant provided you are not power craze. Maintenance wise its relatively almost the same.

If I was in ur place, I go for direct 600cc

Which 650cc? I assume it's paralell twin... Such as Versys, Strom, or naked such as er6n, z650, eat .
Even the aprilia rs660 is not that scary.
650 inline 4 such as CBR650 is still manageable.

But not 600 sports such as r6, zx6, gsxr6, cbr600, etc.
