Currently only wearing KF94.

I bought Yukazan bought from Watson's - suitable for small face and women. Size is smallest among all KF94.

I tried Respack local brand. Bought from Caring. - too big for me, suitable for bigger face people. Lower chin might be loose if wear by women.

I bought from shopee single individual packed KF94 shipped from Korea. Brand : Ezwell (black color)

This is the best compared to the above. Very thick and not easy to breath, which means it's good as it covers my face tightly.

It takes awhile to accustom your lungs to breathe through a n95 mask with better sealing then a 3ply. Averagely fit person can be accustom to n95 within 2 weeks if used 4/5 days for more then 2 hours.

Never wear N95 before.

First time wearing this KF94 (korean made bought from shopee) makes me feel dizzy, lack of oxygen.

After a few times wearing only I get used to it.

Please kindly check the fabrique requirements for n95 testing. Its product spec material is non washable/reusable at current material technology. The test speak for itself for n95 equivalent protection. In fact our product exceeds requirements @ 99.8 % filtration taking the lowest number of the test samples submitted. With 4/5 samples coming in at 99.9 % filtration. The product tests results speak for itself.

Firstly, IIRC ASTM F2101 BFE test is based on bacteria, usually S. aureus at particle size of 3 microns, not 0.3 microns. ASTM F2299 or PFE testing is using particles, usually salt or polystyrene at 0.1 microns (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). NIOSH requirements for N95 needs to be tested for particle filtration. Again, you cannot say "equivalent to N95" when you haven't passed certifications and requirements that N95 masks require. The most you can say is BFE 99.9%, which is excellent in regards to BFE protection. Masks are required to pass both BFE and PFE for a reason(and fluid resistance and flame retardants, etc etc.), otherwise why manufacturers need to send for so many tests? And, you have not answered the question about HSA certification. This thread discussion is about good masks that are certified by KFDA or MDA Malaysia or FDA US or whatever. I believe people here want to buy masks that are first and foremost certified by the relevant authorities as people here are scared of Delta and fed up with Shopee and Lazada fakes.

Thanks for link but i only trust disposable stuff during pandemic. Never try cloth mask ever. Even shopping bag i used to be big proponent of reusable bags but after covid start, all plastic bag only. Easier throw outside of house near door.

Can still use reusable bag. Just need to make sure to sanitize them properly once used. It's still more earth-friendly than plastic bags. Use a spray gun (atomizer) and shoot the sanitizer to the reusable bag and leave it outside for some time.

Tbh atomizer also there is debate on whether it is effective. I use lysol/dettol spray instead. Am probably killing the environment these couple of years of the pandemic with plastic bag usage unfortunately. I used to wash the reusable bags every time but they are not made to be washed that often - the envirosax, rootote, rume types not like tesco jute/plastic type which are 100% not washable.

Aeon type ones are still better than normal plastic bags as theirs are bio-degradable. When exposed to sun, very quickly it will breakdown and becomes brittle. Then bio-degrade. If I recall correctly, it's made of plant-based material.

Hi, just to check, for the KF94, does it has good eletrostatic?
I was using Hwipure from lazada, solid electrostatic.
But when bought the neo-medical KF94, the static only on the side flap for nose/chin while the front main part, totally no static.

Can advise which KF94 having good electrostatic? Hwipure size too big for my wife. Trying to find smaller size KF94.

Thanks.

- Mask like N95 can filter 0.3 microns
- Coronavirus particle is 0.1 microns
- Mask like N95 and KF94 works using mask electrostatic absorption, meaning particles are drawn to the fiber and trapped, instead of just passing through
- Summary, mask without electrostatic will be significantly useless to efficiently filter coronavirus

By the way, Airish Plus, my sister bought it and tested, no electrostatic. So, I'm making a pass on Airish Plus KF94.
Per above mentioned, I'd tried on Neo-Medical, however, the electrostatic is not observed on main front part of the mask, just electrostatic on the two side flaps, so, I'm making a pass on Neo-Medical KF94 as well.

Any recommendation of KF94 with good electrostatic property ? Smaller size (to fit for female usage preferred).

Thanks.

Mask is only efficient with good electrostatic, otherwise, even N95 which having 0.3 micron is not efficient to trap covid particle with 0.1 micron

I didn't use electrostatic device to test the mask. Just cut paper into small bits and hold the mask above the paper bits if the mask could stick up the paper bits

One main reason why KF94 or surgical masks having expiry date is because the electrostatic will reduce, wear off over time. When this happened, the effectiveness of mask to filter virus particles will be impacted. Also, why the need to change masks when it get wet as electrostatic lost when got wet.

No need to cut the mask, the side facing outward (external facing side) should be able to stick up small bits of paper if it has electrostatic.
Electrostatic comes from the melt blown layer.
