Mother (67) had a small brain hemorrhage almost 2 months ago. She felt numb on her left side of her body.
Something she ate triggered it. She has high blood pressure and diabetes.
Walked with walker...stick. She's getting better now.
So, what kind of nuts are good for brain? Walnut? Almond? Hazel?
Besides the shape of walnut like a brain(is what the older generation believed), it is probably due to the high omega-3 or more specifically DHA content in the nuts which has shown to help with cognitive function. May consider other nuts like cashews and pistachios. Almond and hazelnut is on the lower end of the list in terms of omega-3 content though.Something she ate triggered it. But nuts like these are considered fats as well, so be moderate on them as well!
