In the Lorong at my terrace housing, there are 20 houses.

15 signed up, 12 for TM Unifi; 2 for Celcom and 1 for Maxis. Nil for Digi.

Will this affect line quality of Unifi? Newbie asking genuine question for sifu help.

No problem at all. Actually 100Mbps is all you need to stream movies, even 4K movies like Netflix and etc.

I'd TM narrowband tumpanging phone line to Unifi fibre over 20+ years in same venue.

Always, not eligible for conversion from old plan to newer plans at higher speed and lower price........, especially at launch of new promotiomal plans over the years.

In rare occassions of being eligible (one of which is :no longer tied to minimum 24 months contract), the account holder himself/herself is made to be present at specific TM Point (where public parking is unfamiliar to you and always full), likely different from the TM point venue you made payment (through kiosk) after office hours .....

during limited working hours from 8am to 5 pm only,

Mondays to Fridays .....

no authourisation is possible as signature of account holder is intentionally and administratively required at counter (another long story of pack and super long wait).... etc etc to frustrate account holder to enjoy new rates/plans.............

So, at the end of the days -- you are stucked forever to TM with Plans/Price signed say, 10 years ago ORRR.....

pay more $$$ to a plan or two of relatively lower speed AND higher price , in relation to NEW TM customers/sign-ups!!!!!

No, don't go close to TM ................

or else new TM customers like you are likely to be stucked for years or DECADES....... through manipulations and administrative red-tapes and procedures ..........................

if the account holder is not taking (half) day off from busy short working hours, to be physically present at the Counters after long waiting for number calling --- to physically sign a document at counters!

In the event the account holder complies with all of the above, there is probably a gap of ONE month between date of old line termination and new line commencement!!!!!!

Go figure...........................
