Let me introduce myself first, I am a 15 year old who has finished my O-levels, and now, I have lots of time before I go to university in 2022.
Right now, I have a huge passion for architecture, and have been designing buildings to kill some time.
Here are some examples

I decided to do some more research on whether Architects are well paid. For a person like me who really wants to make lots of money in the future my search results on whether architects get paid well was not what I expected to see. 98% of what I read online was that most architects live an average life and this is not the career path I should take if I want to make a lot of money.
Even a famous architect, Zaha Hadid said that if you want to live an easy life, architecture is not for you. Lots of them say that the "work is the reward", not the money

So, right now I have no idea what decision I should make before taking my course in university
Should I ditch my diehard passion for architecture in search of another career path that makes more money
Or continue doing what I love?

Or is there any other way I could make more money while still doing what I love?

Money is never enough. Don't make a career decision based on money.

When I was 17 (SPM grad here) I had 2 interests.
Cooking and everything about IT/tech (games, making PC and so on).

So I tell myself cooking is a tough life. Every day you have to dedicate 12 hours of your life to this career.
I can learn to cook in my free time as well. So why pay for a culinary degree.

So I went to study IT instead because everyone knows IT pays a good salary. Turns out I hate programming. So now I am working as a Network Consultant (no programming needed) instead and I still hate my job even though I am earning close to 10k per month even thou is my 4th year working since I graduate. Which is higher among my friends/peers.

Also to add, my family is a property developer and I can say you have talent in your drawing for someone as young as you. This does look like an actual unit I would see on my father's project brochure. I also see my father's architect friend is rich. Driving expensive cars and work 4-6 hours a day. Sell one bungalow project/plan 5-20k per piece. Depends on the complexity.

So ask yourself how rich you want to be and do you want to lose your sanity in the process like me now in IT.

Concentrate in your current study. Get the best result. To be able to enrol in a university is more important than dreaming about the last hurdle which is not relevant at this stage.

By then, your opinion or intetest might change.

With a good result you can study any courses.

99% of the career out there dont pay well just because of the industry, only the performer get pay well. That's poor architect and rich architect, u just need to be good on what u are doing.
They said IT pay very well, but that's average pay IT guy and high pay IT guy at the same time
