Went to a wet market.
They have this misting chamber installed at the entrance.
Everyone need to go inside, lift up the arms and turn one round in order to get full misting in the body.

Lol.

I think relevant authorities should address this issue, I personally could not find any information or research that study this, at least with experimental data?

People thought this spray is superior because it applies the solution evenly onto the surface and it doesnt leave a wet surface.

My logic tells me that this gave people a false sense of security, if its not wet with disinfectant, its not sanitized. Mist may not cover all surfaces sufficiently.

If want to sanitize, use conventional spray to make sure its wet thoroughly.

This is what I believe, after spray, need to wipe the surfaces - the droplets even if 100% alcohol or whatever disinfectant, if no fully cover the surface then what's the use - need to wipe to spread the disinfectant across the surface - which makes this atomizer spray generally useless, imo

Yea. Using this spray is like telling people lets not bathe with water and soap. Lets take our clothes off, spray with the mist because its more effective than bathing. My anology is abit extreme but thats what people around me think so.

The most important is the liquid/solution. Need to use the correct solution. Usually need to dilute and that need to follow manufacturer's instruction.

The gun is just an applicator. No point having expensive gun but just cap ayam solution, or worse just plain water.

Out of my domain of knowledge - but if use common sense, this contraption still no full coverage la - need to wipe to spread the disinfecting solution across all the surface that need to be disinfected, gives a false sense of security - if the mist/spray is disinfecting, your eyes should sting, your nose/lungs will be irritated too - unless they use Johnson and Johnson soap - 'No more tears'.

If mist spray can provide full coverage, your skin should be fully covered which I don't think is possible in this low pressure spray.

Anyway I don't usually care what they use (since it is gimmick) as long as they don't harm me.

My main concern is what solution they use - manatau if I have allergy to it.

This is is atomizer. Produces vapor unlike normal spray thus it can cover hidden area more effectively. Vapor flows like smoke more or less smile.gif

I'm more concern if this thing or the solution water is a gimmick and users believe in the product, this will give them the false sense of security.
Hence got chance of getting infected.

not sure if anyone brought this up yet or not at this point

but the gun you should be looking for is electrostatic sprayer, it allows the solution to better adhere to the surface rather than just dropping like mist

the technology is pioneered by VICTORY in US, made by a malaysian company which also produces DYSON products in senai
