1. Hawker - Unless you have passion, don't. I have seen many hawker start up and disappear the n a few months. Food like shit, don't waste time. If you have no passion for cooking and food, never ever do this.
2. Study - Since he already have Computer background. Study IT is the no brainer choice. There are many options to explore in IT nowadays from technical to sales to management.
Any job you do repeatedly is boring. If TS use boring as excuse, he better go 14th Floor and don't waste the oxygen on this Earth.
