Its just johor style murtabak (some call murtabak singapura) right?

I grow up eating this, but without all these cheese nonsense. definitely liked it.

When I move to pahang and selangor, murtabak is totally different animal altogether. Too stuffy and goopy, chaotic taste without any special texture.

Johor style murtabak is nice one. You enjoy the little explosion of spiced, dry filling crumbling inside your mouth while your tongue busy groping the layer and layer of dough film probing for another clitoris sized chunk of meat.

I tried the ori murtabak from johor without cheese before. Taste awesome. True, i dont find the same kick with Selangor one.

It looks nice before pumping so much cheese and mayo.

got people selling pisang goreng, looks nice and crispy then they butcher it with tons of cheese. real cheese or fake cheese all the same.

Murtabak is similar to that Japanese food. I forgot the name. Okonomiyaki? Anyway among the murtabak variants I like the murtabak maggi

I agree it's more of a murtabak style Johor but being called murtabak Singapura instead.

Murtabak Singapura in Singapura is lot less oily then Johor style. Prefer sinki one better,but it too much of a hassle to go sinki land.

Murtabak in Selangor like the stupid sambal cair nasi lemak is shitty. But now as I move from KV, kinda miss the Iraqi, Pakistani,kashmiri, lebonese foods.

Different from Penang murtabak...still the best, I reckon with the pickled onions (lots of it), kuah ikan or kambing. 2 places come to mind, only Pg people know.

The cheese thingy is too much and I know a lot of Malays like them, dunno why? I see them put it on fried chicken, pisang goreng, keropok lekor cheese..my gawd, all those fatty favourites.
