Chokyi Gyaltsen Center (in PENANG) is very pleased to be able to invite H. E. Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup to Penang. Khenrinpoche's teaching is on using dharma to overcome our daily problems, particularly, terminal sickness such as cancer and stroke, and business failure.

I attached here the full program of H. E. Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup. It has the full details of the mantras for animal liberation, the benefits of garuda practice, the various mantras for healing cancer, stroke, other forms of skin diseases and bone diseases.

It has also the five dzambhala deities mantras and a few very secret mantras for success and removing obstacles.

H. E Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup has very kindly agreed to give oral tranmission of all these mantras to help us to create great success and remove our obstacles, for the benefits of dharma; and also to give oral transmission of black garuda, hayagriva-vajrapani-garuda mantra to heal cancer, stroke etc, so that we will have perfect conditions to practise dharma.

The total costs of bringing in Khenrinpoche and His entourage to Penang is over RM7,000 including a budget of RM2,000 for liberating animals. Your generosity is very much appreciated.

Please join us to help liberate these animals by carrying these animals and circumambulate (walking around) many stupas, holy objects of buddha statues, sutras, so that these animals will be released from lower realms, and eventually attain a human rebirth and meet dharma. There will be a lot of children attending this animal liberation too, so please bring your children and cultivate them strong sense of not killing animals. The event will be held at 157 Kelawei Rd and Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang from 21-23 Sept 2007.

Lama Lhundrup is the abbot of Kopan Monastery in Nepal, the first monastery established by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche in 1969. At Kopan since 1972, Lama Lhundup is like a mother and father to the 300 monks and 200 nuns. Lama Lhundrup has also touched the hearts of the thousands of travelers who have stayed at Kopan monastery over the years.

Geshe Lhundrup Rigsel was born in Tibet in 1941, to a poor peasant family. He joined Sera Monastery while still a boy, and in 1959 fled from the Chinese invasion to India. In Buxa, the refugee camp in Northern India where many of the monks were sent by the Indian government, he met Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa, an studied with the great masters such as Geshe Rabten and others.

In the late sixties he was sent by the Abbot of the exiled Sera Monastery to South India to start clearing land for the new monastery. In 1972 he was called to Kopan by the late Lama Yeshe, to teach philosophy to the Kopan monks for three months. The rest is history.

Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup has been abbot of Kopan since then, taking care of the ever growing group of monks and nuns and bringing alive Lama Zopa Rinpoche's and Lama Yeshe's vision of Kopan. Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrip still teaches classes every day, gives advice to visitors and foreigners and is available for each and every sentient being.
