1. how bout matte black or flat black..those in cans and any brand will do

2. any spray also can...as long as u gosok the plastic with sand paper 1st to make sure paint stick to it...yup fluorescent will give UV effect when paired with UV CCFL

3. look for spraying guide on the net and ask from sifus in casing spraying tongue.gif

1-Put a layer of primer,then sand..the apply primer again..
2-apply the color you want (if possible, put 2 layer) to make it deep..
3- go for samurai brand (better go for compressor)

Try it,it wont make ur internal case scratch when u apply screws...

1- normally around rm 6-7
2- Its almost the same.
3- primer is like a undercoat..use whether grey of white (depends on what color u r gonna use)
4- glossy black is normal black (NOT matte and flat)..IF u paint it correctly and perfectly,i will give a mirror shine..can be found at hardware shop, motorcycle shop..price around rm 6-7

Hope that helps.. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

usually for internal casing, flat black will just do fine...no need to spray primer. if if u are aiming for high glossy/mirror effect, primer will be important. there is a lot of tips in the internet....

what i need to do to get a nice paint job ? it look difficult to spray EVEN to whole casing .. there is part by part which i need to spray accordingly .. so , which part i must start from ? that 5 DVD bay and HDD area ? or the mobo area ? or other part?

Here we go dude, take out all the rivets, take them into pieces, then you can separate your your mobo tray, hard disk and cd rom bay, top, bottom and rear plate..

Then, you can go on with sanding down the factory color..

Then you can go on to spray...

Try to look at this------> SPARYING TUTORIAL

HDD and DVD rom slot, you need to take it out by removing the rivets..

But the HDD and DVD cover, its screwless dude, just tear it off and it will not be virgin anymore..its to make sure your spray is level and smooth..

If you dont have drill, try to take it to any garage, ask them to take out those rivets, but need to pay a bit..

Dude,i think you need to invest a bit on tools such as grill..

lol..at dat part sure la can easily fade..bcoz its dealing wit friction everytime u r handling ur case..but i think this problem can be reduced by sanding ur case bfore painting job..oso make thicker layer of ur paint..

if u want a good painting result...

like my bro's case...

3 layer of ordinary black can spray - RM6 each... total of 3 cans needed... lil balance left...
2 layer of clear can spray - RM6 each... 1 can enough

avoid windy and high moisture atmosphere..

let it day naturally and really really dry then u continue to the next layer~

total of 5 layers took my bro 6 days to finish it... slow job but nice result... actually he can do it quickly but nothing to be rushed about... so he did it 1 day per layer accept the 3rd layer of black before continuing clear~ extra 1 day gap...

p/s: this is my bro's tip... even me myself didnt follow coz i'm a stubborn lil bro... end up, my case can be easily scratch.. even using nail.... my bro's paint is still good till now... bring it from kuching, fly to penang~ almost 1 year now... no defect..

thats normal dude..if you want the spray to stay stick, use gun spray..

normally, normal spray will be tough if i sand it correctly, apply 2-3 layer of coating,primer..

lastly,try to apply clear coat..

There are many types of grit papers..

try 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 ( use with sanding block)

then use old cloth to remove dust before painting..

the best method of sanding i've ever heard... from my dad...

try to sand it under slow water flow... the sanding will be more effective and wont require lots of sand paper...
