Hi,

During this COVID19 pandemic, can the JMB deny entry to contractor if all procedure (registration, deposit) already followed?

This is for contractor to install basic necessities such as internet and water (coway, cuckoo etc).

Appreciate your help.

You need to ask your JMB instead of asking here. Not everywhere is the same. Some allow some dont. Depend on your JMB

no they cannot as basic basic necessities are allowed.

Many JMB act like little Napolean, remember the incident where JMB wont allow residents in unless take covid test first?

threaten to sue them for compensation due to loss of income for no internet to WFH and medical bills for lack of clean drinking water due to JMB deny i guarantee you they will kecut.

Do you know which law I can refer? If I'm wrong then it's ok but if their action is wrong, why should I follow right

yup JMB have the right to deny your contractor if not follow SOP...
JMB will have SOP such as request Miti letter, a contractor with 2 doses + certificate & RTK or PCR test for contractor

Yes I fully understand if they have extra SOP to be followed but only last week I got contractor coming in without any problem but this week they say cannot. Really got me confused.

So if KPKT SOP allow & JMB SOP also all followed, they dont have rights to deny the contractor entry, is it correct?

Of course this is the easiest way but the management cannot do what they want if not stated in the rules.

coway installation is usually small and clean work.
you can easily bypass the management.

1. assuming you have car park and different access route, you can just bring your contractor to your unit though the car park entry.
2. inform the contractor to wear a bit casual and go in together as family member.

Nahh. I'm quite disagree with you.

I used to work with 1 of the JMB, usually all the decision, yes we decided for it, but there will be 3-5 residents that will keep spamming call, email and keep complaining non stop. Too much free time at home.

Sometimes we need to change rules/SOP in order to satisfy their needs.

Simple things also want to complain.

With the current covid situation, I'm sure there will be a lot of overreact residents that like to complain every single thing.
