QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Feb 22 2008, 05:07 PM) ***GATHERING UPDATE!***Okay, I know this has been long delayed again but now I'm trying to get things going jugak Venue - We are looking at Pet Safari, Ikano. They have a room there that can be used. Last time a ferret talk was also held in the same place. I am writing the request letter to get the approval. Date - Looking at 12(sat) or 19(Sat) or 20(Sun) APRIL, 2008... Lemme me know which date is best! Time - Is 2pm - 5pm enough? Rough outline - A gathering with current owner, future owner as well as interested public. Will discuss about the proper care, housing and diet. Q&A session. Will be giving out flyer and perhaps a goodie bag??? Will have a small display set up and selling some glider goods as well Ohh and gonna try and get the press to do coverage! Appreciate some feedbacks/thoughts about it and also need some volunteers to help and mebbe chip in some money if we wanna do goodie bags... KP That would be just great!! I would love to attend it, but i can't confirm till it's nearer. I'll definitely be there if i'm free. Will travel from JB or PG for the gathering.

QUOTE(cheekyd @ Feb 23 2008, 04:58 AM) hi guys..... wanna ask how long does ur suggie sleeps a day ? mine seems like sleeping more then 20 hours aday... is it something wrong or normal... and i know its normal for a suggie to crap when they are scared... but how do u manage it... my suggie is very small hearted and shacken up by fast movement and others.. need advise from sifu here... thanks Mine would sleep for....i'd say 14-15 hours but they won't be out and jumping unless it's dark enough. They'll probably be awake but just hiding in the pouch. It's normal for them to crab if they r scared or if they r unfamiliar with u. Firstly, bond with ur gliders. After they learn to trust u, the crabbing will go away n they will be more than happy to see u. There are lots of info bout bonding in the net. Search for it. Cheers!!!

QUOTE(emino @ Feb 23 2008, 01:09 PM) Mine doesnt crab at me since first day! Hehe! Doesnt believe me? Ask Hun! lol I do believe u, every gliders have their own character. Some just click to the owner immediately, while some just never. Gliders that are used to human interactions r less likely to crab when handled.

QUOTE(outsider @ Feb 24 2008, 09:33 AM) last night i saw a pair of sugar glider sell for rm430, is it consider a good price? A piar for rm430? Is it adult gliders or joeys? Smells fishy. The condition of the gliders? It's a good price for joeys, but moderate for adults. N if it's from the wild, the price is ridiculous.
