Today went Toyota and fix the turning noise on the spot. Fast n good service. Haha.

By looking at your requirements then i would say go for the Vios J. But you will have to accept that it's considered a base model. So you won't have rear disc brakes & will have to bear with a manual adjustment side mirror. If you can accept all that the the Vios is definitely a fun car to play with. Reliable wth  great resale value too.

my gf just got a new vios J auto too. (my recommendation)

between city and vios, I too go for vios. I just don't like the new city style(personal opinion here)

but the only minor point is vios dashboard at center ... sometimes neck quite tired if want to observe the car speed. 

3M and Vkool very nice but not smart tag friendly and $$$$$...

still looking for others tint .. else 3m is my final choice ... 

i think eco tint got 1 is 10 years warranty and heat reject quite high oso ...

but donno the quality .....

wanna check if anybody encountered this problem,

I drive most of the time in KL city (coz of work).  The thing is, whenever it rains, puddles of water appear and they are slightly deeper than wat u normally get.

When i drive my car through, my battery light comes up.  After a while it goes off.  But does this mean the undercarriage is very exposed?  Or is this kinda normal?

Anyone can tell me the rpm reading for vios manual tranny at speed 80km/h and 100km/h?

the 3000 rpm for 100km/h..  is it at 4th gear or 5th gear?

if i'm not mistaken for manual tranny, the ratios for 3rd, 4th gear is shorter than the auto's ratio for 3rd and 4th gear...

might be the reason y...

but den again, i'm no mechanic...

i would suggest that you go and ask a few SA. last month, i asked a few and some said 1.78% no disc, some 1.78% 500 disc and i managed to get 1.5K with 1.78%..some forummers even got 1.7K disc for that low interest..Happy hunting 

yeah i know. My point is that you will still find SA that will give cash discount despite the low interest rate. i can even get 1.5K cash discount when interest rate was 1.78%. Lower interest (1.78%) get cash discount BUT higher interest(2.38%) don't get cash discount?? 

  Before announcement on rate increase, Interest rate was 2.++% , toyota offer 1.78%, can get cash discount

  After announcement on rate increase, interest rate is 3.++%, toyota offer 2.38%, But can't get cash discount????

What's the difference between the two cases? With the low interest of 1.78%, toyota SA still manage to give out 1.5K cash discount to customers, i don't see any reason of them not giving cash discount again for this month's offer. Anyway, no harm of hunting around for the best offer. Saving of 1.5K can be used to change car rims or add bodykit. 

the cash discount is not black and white stated in the promotion package. Whatever advertised is the Standard package. But some SA will give extra cash discount on top of that to secure sales.

haha. If giving more discount will make toyota gone bankrupt, Toyota would have been bankrupt by now. 

But I think Toyota SA would want more customers like you.
