Hi sifus,

I am currently using Asus ROG Gl552VW gaming laptop for work (Word, Excel, occasional video editing). I had it since 2016 and surprisingly it held up for all these years (about 8 years), albeit with minor maintenance (change HDD, keyboard, thermal paste etc).

But now the fan is starting to have issues and not sure how easy to get spare parts. Plus, need to upgrade since most connections are new now (HDMI, USB etc), concern on compatibility.

Need recommendation on a good laptop for:

1) Budget: RM3k+, up to RM4k
2) Usage: Office work, occasional video work, 3D rendering
3) Requirements:
a. Can last long (5 years at least)
b. Prefer 15.6 inch
c. Have ample connectors / ports (HDMI, USB-C, USB 3) (audio jack is bonus)
d. Prefer Win 10 (bonus if specs allow to upgrade later on, heard Win 12 coming up. Hate Win 11 tho) - so may not be the most recent models
e. Screen - since for work, must be good enough but avoid OLED (since concern on screen burn)

Appreciate the quick recommendation since dunno how long current laptop can last lol.
