Hi all, I am planning to get a laptop for light gaming (dota 2, PES 2021), watch movies and download. I think for my requirement, I do not need a high-end GPU 3050/60, 1650 should be more than enough. I need to have 16GB memory and at least 512GB SSD, 15inch laptop. I am comparing Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 Gen 6 (Ryzen 7 5800H, 120Hz display, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, GTX 1650 with the price of around RM3.7k); with Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 6 (Ryzen 7 5800H, 60Hz display, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, GTX 1650 with the price of around RM4.3k). There is a price different of about RM600 with similar specs but with display of only 60Hz on Legion despite the extra money. I know Legion have MUX and higher TGP but if I am not playing those intensive games like Cyberpunk, it should not be matter right? I am particularly concern on the display since I also change my smartphone from 60Hz to 120Hz display and I can totally feel the different, much smoother on 120Hz display. Upgrading the display of Legion 5 15 is costing alot (more than 5k), which is not worth, better to go for Legion 5 Pro is even a better bargain, price at around 4.7k with same specs, display of 165Hz and RTX 3050. What do you think?
