was looking at glock 5 gen 3 but their shipping time is terrible so im reconsidering. here's some context:

i was looking for a laptop with beefy cpu and found illegear ares series. but sadly they dont sell the lower end models anymore (they were using desktop ryzen 3rd gen). so after looking around, found that techarmory is the only other retailer that sells laptop with desktop cpu (glock 5 gen 3 with 11700 + 3060 130w at 6.5k which is too good of a deal tbh). placed my order. shop tells me shipping takes 2 week. ok

2 weeks later asked for an update, shop says got some issue with shipping, another 2 weeks. ok.

another 2 weeks passed, i asked my gf to call instead, they told her to wait another 2 weeks cuz shipping still got issue, something something stuck at customs something or whatever. i cant wait already, called them myself afterwards to clarify. the same guy told me that he will rush the shipping and get it to me within the next week. whatever.

another week passed, no update whatsoever. so i waited until the next week after (which is now) to tell them they got until this wednesday to fulfill my purchase or im dropping it. tbh i dont expect them to be able to (nor i can ever trust them already at this point.) if you cant deliver within X amount of days, dont tell your customer you can deliver within X amount of days. if they have told me i have to wait 1 month++ to get my laptop, i wont even consider them at all. waiting time is a factor in choosing my purchase as well

so here i am, currently choosing my next purchase (hopefully from a reputable retailer this time). was looking for the ares X from illegear but seems like they removed this one as well (and its tad above my budget too but im willing to pay for it). might also consider upgrading my desktop gpu instead and buy a less powerful but lightweight laptop instead, hence the budget #2

any ideas? thanks.

* unrelated but postscript, i've purchased from illegear before, onyx V. great service, great laptop, delivered to my hands on time as promised. in fact im typing this from that very same laptop i purchased earlier this year, no issue at all since then.
