1. Budget: Under RM2k
2. Usage: Browsing, emails, light office work.
3. Requirements: No specific requirements. Just looking for a cheap budget laptop. Preferably in stock now.

Looking for a budget laptop under 3k. Currently looking at Ideapad 3 or Thinkpad E14. Which is better?

wait time? any particular requirements?

Preferably now. A decent screen would be nice. Its just for basic home use like browsing, youtube/netflix, light office work etc. Weight under 2kg. 13" or 14" inch would be nice but 15.6 would do just fine as well if no choice.

What are the suggestions for now vs can wait a few months?

Yes. Think 8GB is more than enough.
