I believe reliability will subject to own usage environment There's several range of laptop within each brand that at least can work around it

Dell - Inspiron / Latitude / Precision
Dell - Vostro / XPS / G series / Alienware

Lenovo - ThinkBook / Thinkpad / P Series
Lenovo - Ideapad / Yoga / Legion

HP - EliteBook / Elite DragonFly / ProBook / ZBook
HP - Spectre / Envy / Pavillion / Omen / Victus

Apple - Air / Pro

My experience are certain Biz range are better if compare to Home range

Personally reliability to me will be warranty offered, access to upgrade hardware & availability of components in market with reasonable cost (if wanna keep 3~5 years min.)

Depend... nowadays most high-tech are integrated and soldered on-board non upgrade-able

It may last 5 years but by that time the technology shifted at least 3 times ahead

I think let go would be cheaper option further it's 4+ yo... but there's some option to get certain range of laptop if you're going portable

Portable for me will be enuf function on getting thing's done, I'll put games aside thou

You may want to look into prefer screen size, storage, CPU/GPU/RAM, battery as such

or you can describe related task target to be done on the laptop so that we can suggest any suitable one for you

If so maybe not much Window OS related why don't you try a tablet then? either Android or Apple, used Android tablet myself for such activities and some mobile's games

Touchscreen, portable, long battery... also can do alarm at bed

Indeed Would suggest touchscreen, 2-in-1 or hybrid laptop/notebook that may also be tablet for your usage, range between MYR 2~7k

I used to have Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i for quite some time before let-go to fund my desktop, it was great experience and powerful enuf to tackle my task

Sorry couldn't suggest other brand that I didn't have personal experience with

Indeed more watch rather play too, however I do play some mobile's game via LDPlayer just to kill some time no more pc game in last 2 year

Yet Intel Iris also capable of run some range of games itself compared to dedicated GPu

Seems good config can get the Dell below 5k

could you reconfirm with your company is there any preferred brand?

I'm rarely depend on it... prefer headset for satisfaction

Also will save battery

Maybe you can be more specific and provide some link or spec on the model you mentioned, such name are quite general to search as they are similar config and Gen around

Had used Lenovo ThinkPad for more than 5 years and Yoga Duet for 2y so far reliable and no issues on driver/software

Maybe you want to check if the RAM Single or Dual channel

noted will be xtra cautious with mine then, but surely my EliteBook battery shorter compared to my previous Lenovo Yoga Duet 7 13ITL6
