1. Budget : MAX. RM2,500
2. Usage  : University/studies/casual use. No gaming/video editing involve
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :

- main priority would be reliability, as might want to have the laptop to stay with her until finish study (estimate 4 years)
- best if can get 15inches
- buying for niece
- she gonna enrol to Uni in a few months

I am looking to buy a gaming laptop.

2. Usage  : Purely gaming only
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : 15-17 inch display, decent battery life

As I am new to this I would appreciate as much help as possible, tq all.

Requirements: Ram at least 8gb
SSD at least 512GB
processor powerful enough for uni students with casual gaming, eg Ryzen 5500U should be fine

Budget about 4.5k but can stretch to max 5k if worth the investment. Prefer not to as I have opened a GPD fund (I am so attracted to the GPD Win ,Aya Neo, Steam Deck but the prices and whether I might as well get a cheapo laptop and do in home streaming TT or just play indie)

No doubt the newer card is an improvement of overall performance but to my non technical eyes, the not-significant uptick in performance needs to match the price.
Btw, how do I differentiate the Legions naming convention? 5, 7, "i"? I haven't check out those other brands mentioned sometimes, so far only peeking at Lenovo and Asus.
