QUOTE(greesemonkey @ Nov 22 2007, 09:37 AM) persona city driving is 9.xL/100km, highway 7.xl/100km Try comparing with Corolla SEG 1.6 (AE101 or AE111), or Altis 1.6. honda city is 18km/l = 5.5l/100km = kancil = savvy persona fc is normal for 1.6 car, city is just great on FC. Added on November 22, 2007, 9:41 amwhich 1.6 car have you compared with persona? |

QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Nov 21 2007, 08:33 PM) btw, a little over rm100 a week for rawang - kl travel every weekdays wasn't so bad for honda city.whereas my gen2 need twice the amount. LOLz..... am not comparing . thats why i bought another heavilly modified ah beng style 1.8 wira instead. initially plan to trade with persona high line but become a little sceptical after test drive. a step back considering the model ages but i'm ok with it. after all, i made a little money from it instead of topping up the diff. if i wanted to save petrol, public transport will be the best way it's all down to individual taste. |

QUOTE(izaman @ Nov 22 2007, 08:18 AM) i assume that you want to say it will be half in honda city right? if u buy honda city just for the sake of fuel consumption, why don't u use the rm30k extra to buy fuel. that is equal to around 15,000 liter of fuel. (i copy from somewhere about this....make sense though) same idea with normal honda civic and honda civic hybrid lolz... i was about to trade my gen2 with persona high line but changed my mind after test drive......... go for ah beng style 1.8 wira instead and made some money from the trade. now economy quite bad. instead of taking another loan, minimize the liabilities would be the better option. sacrificed on the NVH and models' age over torque. the best way to save fuel is still by taking a public transports plus the hassle Added on November 22, 2007, 12:30 pm QUOTE(izaman @ Nov 22 2007, 12:23 PM) agree. the clutch in manual version are adjustable according to our driving preferences.i'll definitely get back to persona once proton managed to enhanced and defines the camxpro engine. the best thing about persona is the NVH level. highly improves This post has been edited by yngwie: Nov 22 2007, 12:37 PM |

QUOTE(kca @ Nov 22 2007, 07:31 PM) Well if direct compare to AE auto model (which is already 10yrs or more), there's a 50-50 odd that FC for Campro is better. AE111 (yr2000, 4AFE) has no problem avg on 12km/L mix driving provided the owner take good care, and even more on highways. |

I wonder why people say 'copy Gen2' when the Gen2 is actually Proton's.
