Buzz off. This is an Armored Core thread. You wanna talk about Gundam, there's other places for you. If not, you can start your own topic.

thanx

And here I thought I would be able to complete my first AC kit without losing a piece. Alas, one of the tiny pieces just had to fly out of my pincers while I was trying to fit it together mad.gif vmad.gif mad.gif vmad.gif

Cool, bro. Although I don't get one word stated there.
But thanx for the site. There are pictures, though. A picture speaks a thousand words. rclxms.gif

Sorry to hear about that, bro.
I lost a small part from one of my AC units too. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

But I did mentioned that there will be the tiny parts hazard in assembling AC model kits. Live and learn, bro. Live and learn.

Hope you find the piece. If it's not necessary, then leave it. If it's necessary to complete the unit and you still can't find it, I think I have the order catalog somewhere where you can post it to Japan in order for the company, Kotobukiya to send you the replacement parts. Cost about 300 yen or so.

The piece I lost is just a minor piece, barely noticeable, unless you look for it. Actually the piece is so simple looking that I just cut a piece of the spruce and shoved it in(looks the same smile.gif ) The picture below is the result of a week of blisters (Note: The left fist has not been attached as I am planning to buy a weapon unit in the future)

Nice, bro. And is that a Mage Knight figure I see standing on the left? I'm into Mage Knight too, man. And also MechWarrior and the Star Wars figurine game.

I don't think so. This is Gaea, not Crest. Anyway, the missing part is B 3, as seen here(pics from dalong.net):

http://www.dalong.net/review/kotobukiya/ac...ac01_mb0009.jpg

and on the runner here:

http://www.dalong.net/review/kotobukiya/ac01/p/ac01_r_g.jpg

From the first picture, you can tell its fairly obscured from view.

STYC - Yes, it's a mage knight figure. This is where I decided to put Gaea (And no, it is not intentionally trying to blow Magna Draconum's head off)

Speaking of missing parts, bro, I'm missing A2 from my AC-007 Crest CR-C840/UL Lightweight Class Ver.
See picture below for the missing part, in the red circle

Any suggestions, bro?

Great idea, bro.

To naith, as zeff here has stated, when building your model kits, make sure the area is clear of everything and anything. I only build my models on my "cubicle table". You know, the ones you see in any company office with 3 partitions and soft board. With the soft board, I can pin my assembly guide instructions on it.

The reason why I lost the part was because I help the tweezers too tightly and the piece flew upwards into the heavens, never to be heard from again. So I would actually need to encase my self within a cubicle(ceiling included) to avoid such a mistake again.

This also depends on whether there's another AC kit which I find appealing.

STYC - The red kit is Infinite Justice, with its pink colours resprayed with metallic red and violet resprayed with metallic purple. Regarding MK, there are only 2 figures I'm still looking for Mystic Draconum and Neophant. Will probably get it of ebay when the spare cash is available(if ever)

Core parts seldom will be re-use for other AC kits
your A2 piece is from a runner for CR-C840/UL
so you might need to wait for a while to see any new kits using that runner

Oh well.......it's okay though. I don't mind the missing part, leaving a hole behind. Looks like battle scars from a battle. rclxm9.gif

If you lost the PC joints then is not a big deal
AC has a lot of extra PC joints
even the Head Unit is included a big PC joints runner which you only use 2 pieces
feel like kinda wasted the whole thing & cheating our money to buy redundant stuff mad.gif
