One of my HP laptop year 2020 has this card "Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 5 combo"

Does anyone know what is the better replacement wifi card? Suggestions?

try google that part number @ "Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac"
then u can buy it online. should be an easy fix IF you confirmed the module is broken.

Next step up would be AX wifi cards.

HOWEVER

HP is known to whitelist wifi cards, aka if you put in a card not certified from factory, it will refuse to boot

Check the service manual for your machine to see the list (google can help)

This is what I found in the user parts manual for my HP laptop.

The "Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.0" is better one than the "Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.0"?

AX200 is basically top of the line for current Wifi cards, so yeah it is (assuming you have an AX router to take advantage of it)

try troubleshoot the problem first, could be you need to update the driver for it.

also check online for other methods, like here's one:

Make sure to buy the correct card format.

Some older ones (intel 7xxx series and below) is half mini card (HMC) and newer ones from 82xx intel series onwards use mini PCIE.
