Both agreed to deal where my brother paid deposit (1.5k now) and ask the seller to cod with me since I stayed KL.
5th July 2021 – supposed to send grab to my place, but he said no grab. Proceed tomorrow



6th July 2021 – My brother in Seremban. Seller claim he can send through grab/lalamove etc. but later he claim “delivery guy” cannot pass through the road block. So turn back to KL. Gonna deliver to me instead that night.
He claims the delivery guy would send to me around 8pm. Later that night, “delivery guy” claims to pay full amount before meet me. I said no and insist to check on the item before making full payment. Both did not respond to me on message and phone calls and His “delivery guy” turns back to him. Please note that throughout this timeline, I was NOT ABLE TO MAKE PHONE CALL TO BOTH. Only whatsapp message and voice.
The seller claims he will send to me himself tomorrow.

7th July 2021
10am – Seller claims he will send the unit himself to me in the morning. Later he said will do after vaccination at PRINCE COURT. I said ok. Waited few hours and he suddenly said he go buy groceries first. Being a nice guy, I said okay maybe just a while.



1pm - Later he said he was going back to send his wife back home after buying groceries. I ask him which mall is he? He said Midvalley. (at this point I think he can just cod me before going to midvalley). He said he can send 6pm onwards. Being a nice guy, I said ok.







6pm – he said he otw. But haven’t reach until 8ish, where he claims cannot pass thru roadblock. I told him to use other lane have no road block. He insist cannot go thru the roadblock. At this point I decided to meet him at Tesco Ampang.



8pm – reach tesco ampang, which he said he’s at burger king petronas. I reach there and wait for him for 30 minutes. Could not reach via phone call because he claims his phone is broken, and claims he’s driving honda civic VET 88 which is nowhere to be seen. At 8.40pm, he suddenly said deal cancel and would proceed to refund my brother.







At this point of time, I am fairly certain he’s scamming my brother and just prolonged the process. I just think why he spend so much time and effort (I wasted more time and effort for this fella) whereas he can just disappear after my brother transferred some of the money.

Easter egg –
1. I assume the “seller” and “delivery guy” is the same person. both have the same typo before the “seller” delete the message. Again, I CANNOT REACH ANY OF THEM VIA PHONE CALL ONLY WHATSAPP
2. vaccination at PRINCE COURT, driving HONDA CIVIC yet claims phone broken, and he successfully made phone calls to me earlier.
3. When my brother first contacted the “seller” he promotes on safe delivery tcss and pushes for 10% or 20% deposit. Afterwards he even pushes for full deposit before making the deal.
4. Don’t know where “seller” got this picture, but he claims to be doing this during pandemic. HE EVEN HAVE THE NERVE TO ASK MY BROTHER CHECK HIS LOWYAT ACCOUNT.
