Bro Shino,
Where is the location you are fishing?

What is the target fish?

Different fish prefer different bait smile.gif
1st spot = KL ampang's lombong lake.. dunno got fish or not.. but always see some people fishing there...

2nd spot = Sungai at hilir bukit at Taman Melawati there... got alot small fish... fish kind like small talapia...

what bait to use? my friend said use cacing tanah to fish okay already wan.. cengkerik also no problem..

For the one in Tmn Melawati, i'm not sure.. smile.gif Have not been there smile.gif

Added on September 26, 2007, 2:55 pmBro SA,

Bro Shino,
Yes there will be effects as well..

but to certain fishes..depending on where do you fish..

For example,

Sebarau will be more active if it is rainy season or just rained. The logic is simple, after rain, there will be alot of insect being washed downstream. That's where the sebarau lurks. They hentam the insects.

Another logic is the smaller bait fish unable to swim in the high speed current, thus being washed downstream. The sebarau whacks all of them~ smile.gif

Some fishes tends to be more lazy during, before or after rain...or perhaps i should not call it lazy, the fishes are adapting.

As it about to rain, the fishes have to adapt for the soon-coming coldness of the water condition. Same goes after rain, the fishes have to bear the coldness of the water condition.

The top section of the water after rain is cold, unlike the bottom part of the water condition. Thus, the fishes are not likely to surface.. smile.gif

About baits, would you be geli to use some live baits? or crickets or worms? if NO, then use live baits.

1. Get a float blobber and tie it to your line.. smile.gif
2. Your hooks is about 3 feet after the blobber...
3. live katak, fishes, or even meats..can use cricket or worms..

For newbie, blobber is very useful to detect any activity on their baits. If there are fishes nibbling your bait, the blobber is gonna dance. Once the blobber sinks, strike and bring in your catch.. smile.gif simple as that..

You can go to Ampang old town, and get your stuffs there. There is 2 old timer tackle shop there. BEWARE: quite expensive for somethings.. smile.gif

My wifey and I can take the night shift to look after your dotter, mar. Just call, ok?
FYI, as an emergency, during a high fever, the 1st aid is take lots of ice and if the need arises, bathe in icy cold water. It's better catching pneumonia than getting brain damaged caused by 105 deg F temperature, right?
