Hi all, does anyone knows the dead pixel policy for Ipod Touch? Lets say I buy a unit from Machines. I try it out on the spot and if there is a dead/stuck pixel, will they replace with a brand new unopened unit?

it would be better u check on the spot when u purchase it.
i also checked on the spot..... so far no dead-pixel found.

btw.... i wonder how to copy photos into my Touch ?
Must use Sync ? If use sync, will it remove all my existing photos in Touch
then only copy the new one ?
JailBreak... can it be done for iPod Touch v1.1.1 ?

yea.u need to sync it via itunes.. and it wont remove all the photos that came with the ipod touch itself ... unless u sync'ed it from another pc..then it'll wipe out the photos..

Just wondering, anyone regretted buying the iTouch? Found the audio/video quality not up to standard to what you paid? Or maybe thought that the ipod classic or any other ipod would be a better choice? Touch screen a joy?

Im planning to buy one as soon as today depending on the replies i get. I read the review but it didnt turn out so good, so to give it a fair shot, i just wanted to get users opinion from here.

you will only feel unsuitable at the first becoz all happen in wide screen including keyboard and other......make yourself like it...

Other than that, sound/video/built quality all up to standard? Please be brutally honest, that 1.7 k, is coming from my pocket. Gotta make it worth the hole in my wallet. Thanks in advance.

Btw, do recommend a good earphone to pair with the touch.

the video that they complain in reviews that problem has been fixed
juz make sure u receive the cover with macy grays picture
and sound quality definitely u need a better pair of cans..

about sound of coz is nice IPOD man... video quality is depend on ur original video before u convert it....becoz the original video quality is good after u convert also very nice

it rocks man...go do urself a favour n buy one...
i juz bought mine and very pleased wit the wifi experience...
and youtube...
havent tried mp3 n video...but its ipod...mp3 playback wouldnt be a problem though....=)...

Does anyone here have the old Apple Power Adapter, the one that's kinda huge compare to the mini new ones. I wonder it works on charging the iPod touch or any new iPod's?

use visual hub, i think it has the best conversion quality with minimal time. the only one with better quality is apple's own quicktime but that usually take forever to convert.

it's not free though, but you will be very satisfied. it has specific settings for any kind of ipod (touch,nano,classic) so that the end result would be the best for that particular model.
