You probably may want to look at Lenovo Legion 5/5Pro/7.
For the money, you get a very good spec but they are quite high in demand atm. It's a gaming machine but also incredible for rendering or 3d work. Also it comes with Ryzen 7 5800H (8 cores 16 threads), great for multicore rendering. The graphics card are either the GTX3060/70/80 which could easily run Max, Maya, Unreal etc with ease.. on the plus side, you could game any AAA titles at max settings when taking a break.

Usually I would suggest a workstation laptop from Dell Precision or HP but they aren't any faster, expensive but you get the certification that it would run industrial softwares without issues. Since you're a student, a workstation laptop may be a bit overkill.

there's a difference between laptops that can perform design-heavy tasks and gaming laptops.
have to take color accuracy, display quality and of course raw gpu and processing power.

if price is really not an issue then consider acer's conceptD: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/MY/content/conceptd-home
