For me, I've been working in Cyberjaya more than a decades and had been staying here for couple of years. I enjoyed less to none traffic jam. A lot of green parks everywhere. Crime rate is zero at least in my residential area - Setia Eco Glades and a project as a whole also zero for crimes, tats at least 6-8 years since 1st phase roll out.
And so far it is the only town planning with wide bicycle lanes. And walking path almost every part in Cyberjaya.
Food wise: I must said it is more than sufficient. If u enjoy non halal, there's Third Avenue shoplots, Few shops around Glomac near Pelita and many more. And more are popping out.
If u wanna experience something else, go dengkil, equine park, bukit puchong or even sri petaling... all around 10-15 minutes drive only.
Shopping/grocery: Within Cyberjaya: there are few. Village grocer, jaya grocer, star grocer and few more big one are coming...
Again, if u enjoy aeon or aeon big, they are just around 15 mins away only.
When I started working in CBJ, there's only Oldtown tat open 24/7 and when we crave for non halal, we always go Dengkil or SK. Its just few minutes away via drive. Now u have plenty of choice, even Taco Bell open its very first branch in CBJ, tats shows something right? Got potential...
Cbj no more spaces edy, tats y u have Cyberwest (Gamuda), north (Bkt Puchong), east(Putrajaya/PJ) and south(Dengkil) now whereby none of them are belong to Cyberjaya. Many development are booming up also. Government also setup many kebangsaan schools, big huge hospital which opening soon. Many universities, private school, international skool around the corner.
It is still a very peaceful and very serene in this growing cities. If u miss oversea or travel, the gateway is just 25 minutes away.
If you thought of staying in Cyberjaya, its either u come now when there are still have many choices, price range still affordable. Or come later, when amenities, facilities n development is there. Then u probably need prepare more bullets and pay higher for stay or move even further than Cyberjaya.
If later when cbj no more spaces or prices gone up. Then the question probably come back again? Should I move to Nilai? Bandar Salak South? hahaha... just my 2 cents.
15 minutes drive is about 12km away, is like from klcc to dbkl boundary e.g batu caves, the curve, jalan templer, tmn cuepacs, ampang jaya, etc.And so far it is the only town planning with wide bicycle lanes. And walking path almost every part in Cyberjaya.

cbj is near flight path; on approach to klia runway, one can see vast piece of land remain undeveloped in and surrounding cbj, enough for a few decades of development. until overhang units is reduced substantially, poorperly price will remain suppressed as seen in the last few years.
