Western countries all duduk rumah je if mild symptoms or no symptoms. Where got quarantine centers wan?

Quarantine period already over and everybody healthy, why so kepoh ask to be quarantined again?

Japan also dun gib a fook test symptomatic people only.

Yup. After this experience. I hope all /k/ who read my experience will just go for this advice. Just update mysejahtera if u positif , quarantine yourself and wait for call, dont bother cari sini sana for additional info. Only if it gets worse than only call 999

Long story short, my wife tested positive covid 24th May and been sent to Sungai Buloh hospital for 10 days quarantine. When I got to know, I and my parents went for PCR test and the result was negative. Self quarantined at home.

On 2nd June, when I wanted to fetch my wife at the hospital, I declared myself as contact rapat (and also key-ed in the date that my wife was positive which was 24th May). Suddenly after refreshing my apps, the colour turned from blue to orange, and now have to wait for another 14days before it's cleared and every day must do the assessments (now day 7). Tried calling few numbers to clarify the matter but no one even answers the call, so I called PKD PJ instead and explained to them the story. The pic told me that I do not need to do a second-time swab test as my wife has been quarantined outside and far from us. I also ask about how to clear the "kontak Rapat" status in mysejahtera, he also doesn't know how to settle it.

So now, I just wait for it to clear itself by answering the assessments every day and hoping it will clear day 10 or so.

The system is overwhelmed oredi, just quarantine at home including all house members.
After 14 days make sure follow SOP when go out

TS, the important thing is your unvaccinated grandma is fine la.

And since you are negative, you can continue go #CucukYourAZ.

Don’t rely on test if you’re already close contact. Just self isolate. Take care yourself.

So your situation is very similar to mine.. the mysej app follows date of submission instead of date of last contact

i don't think anyone can just self quarantine without official letter from a medical panel. that means absent from work without valid paper documentation.

The problem is my grandma is supposed to go for vaccination this Sunday, I thought since my brother is free, i can go bring her to vaccinate later

Correct. So now, I have to stay home for another 14 days until 18th June.

Tomorrow my mom is having her 1st dose of vaccination, she has to go by grab as I can't send her. If not sure sangkut and ask to go back. All the other status are Low risk, the only mine "kontak Rapat"

same here, my wife shop got 2 staff positive, they quarantined in centre, KKm ask them questions where they work. etc but end up no tracing also.

no one contact my wife and she self quarantined.

there is no doubt that mySejahtera is not linked directly to SIMKA which is the online platform for all Covid-19 RTPCR positive results submission.

any contact tracing if performed is somewhat manual
ie. from SIMKA, check if suspect registered on mySejahtera. then check if there are any close contact/dependents registered on mySejahtera.

SIMKA doesn't contain national public information of the household. (ie. whos staying at which address, IC #, name, contact #). it only has the specific patient information itself.

you are correct that it would've been best to just stay at home self quarantine and not so called kepochi as per KKM's guidelines

only reasons for this:
- KKM overloaded
- information outreach to everyone is slow
- its a global pandemic, best to adhere to the FAQ vs answering every questions

Big fail on this part. Mysj alraedy in use How long? Still so many database not integrated.

I did ask the klinik that swab me and they told me that they have submitted the negative report to KKM on that day itself.

So i guess it only applies to main positive cases, kontak rapat case like the one im in now.. still have to go thru klinik kesihatan pcr test
