Bought Lenovo, the tower pc took 2 month and one accessories took 1 month to reach. Delay of the tower pc is due to graphic card as well.

i normally direct deal with customer service officer .. ya he said three month .. which graphic card you getting?

I recently also bought a new Dell Ispiron 15 for my wife. The order was placed 26th March, and was told by Dell CS that the lead time will be 6-8 weeks for delivery. I than told CS that I'm fine with 6-8 weeks wait for delivery. Come 6th of May, I received an email telling me that there will br another 3 months delay for laptop. I ignored the email and didn't bother to call up CS but surprisingly, DHL delivered on the 17th of May and the rest is history.

My advice is just give it another 2 more weeks and see if there is any updates or development regarding your purchase before pursuing further action.

Hmm, that's odd. Mine's been marked as Shipped 2 days ago.

I'm thinking of cancelling my R12. There's quite a few complaints about the RAM issue, heat, etc. If I'm dropping so much cash (eventhough it's "cheap" compared to custom) the last thing I wanna do is tear up the PC and change fans, thermal paste, etc.

The thread in the forums is 31 pages long, and more than a month later nary an official response from Dell on the RAM gear1 / gear2 issue. Although, they did fix an unrelated BSOD issue with the BIOS update.

Each day I see threads on reddit with people getting black screen after BIOS update, AWCC issues, etc. I'm not sure if it's being blown out of proportion but I have lost quite some confidence on this rig.

On my side, I've requested for an acknowledgement multiple times over the RAM issues but to date none has been given.

On a separate note, does anyone know how a 3070 Ti compares to the 3080 in terms of performance?

Mine came yesterday. Will unbox and update over the weekend.

It's more noise than heat issue. The are no fans in the market that can match the 150 CFM industrial fans in the R12. Only problem is that the noise level is also industrial. That's usually the reason why most swap the fans out. A reduction in noise yes, a reduction in heat no.
