I subbed through App Store but then can't even access website on PC so request for refund from Apple. Rather pay extra (double almost) for US account whenever there's a show to watch - had let it lapse after Falcon. Also seriously there's no app on Apple TV?

Was given access by family to a Disney+ Singapore account but couldn't access it since apparently i can only log in with phone number whereas i was given an email to log in the Disney+ Singapore.

Disney+ log in are using email not phone number. You need to have a VPN to use singapore disney+. Disney+ hotstar on the other hand are using phone number for log in. Disney+ and disney+ hotstar are two different thing.

Wasn't able to run Disney+Hotstar on my Mi Box S, stuck after the logo
Whereas on my Sony AndroidTV it runs fine

Turns out it was because of my pihole in the network (my SonyTV already configured not to use pihole for DNS)

Just figured out why my media devices keep pointing to India's site. Turns out my ISP has this FreedomDNS service that automatically configures streaming channels to certain countries and in this case it points to Hotstar India even though my public IP is Shah Alam.

I thought i disconnect that service. IT works back end so i dont really feel it and only on certain streaming sites.

From my previous experience using Hotstar, i can say they are pretty 'good' at blocking non-indian connection..

I'm not dissapointed with disney hotstar. Although i have full blown disney+ i still subscribe disney hotstar just to see what it have. I'm glad i can watch some nice old series such as 24 or X-Files or even The Walking Dead which are not available in full blown disney+.

Yeah... log in with phone number is sure a no go. There is a way to overcome it but it quite a hassle.
