Manchester United's lack of transfer progress is reflected in the slow pace around these parts.

there are different ways of dealing, some clubs has been working on a transfer for over a year or maybe half a year.. once transfer window open, just formality. most of the clubs prefer to wait and see the movement during the window transfer and hoping for the best deal. both have pros and cons. action vs reaction.

Manchester United had already agreed on the internal transfer targets back in March.

Transfer update:
Rumour has it that Manchester United has a 50M bid rejected by Real Madrid for Varane. Real Madrid apparently may have a change of heart to give Varane what he wants after releasing Ramos. RM may not want to lose both senior CBs in Ramos and Varane in the same window, and look to match incoming Alaba with Varane. It now depends on what Varane wants to do as his contract is up next season. Stay tuned. Please take note that there are conflicting accounts if a bid has gone in or not, so just throwing it here to liven things up.

Negotiation on Sancho is ongoing but it probably won't be known if it is successful until after the Euros.

MANCHESTER UNITED's 2021-22 home kit has been 'leaked', and fans aren't impressed.

What could be the Red Devils' latest strip has been teased online, with a new shirt sponsor.

Plain red, with a similarly minimalistic white collar, the kit is unlikely to get anyone racing to the club shop.

Isn't Isak a bit similar to Martial and Rashford as a striker?

And here we have it folks, after the talk on Varane and Trippier.

Varane 1 year contract left and will cost around 50M pounds. Report saying we are not willing to match the price but Dono true or not. If its true then I'm really disappointed

Isn't that rather typical of MU transfer policy?

50M for a World Cup winner and multi time CL winning CB in his prime is too much.
But 50M for an unproven English RB from Crystal Palace and 80M for an English CB for Leicester is fine.

exactly. if 80m for maguire is ok, varane easily worth x1.5 of that fee

Sancho transfer ongoing, Dortmund have received a bid and negotiations are on.

Personally, I don't really care anymore about Sancho. He was supposed to be last season's marque signing so wheeling him out this season does nothing for me. I'd expect this transfer to take at least a few weeks more into July, when the new kit launches so he can hold it up.

Nothing on the CDM front as of now.

Even looking at Man City, with the reputation of spending big, they have almost never spent more than 50-60M on one player.

Biggest transfers :
2015 - De Bruyne for 54M.
2018 (Jan) - Laporte for 57M.
2018 - Mahrez for 60M.
2020 - Rodri for 62M.

They never went 80M for a Pogba or Maguire like United.
This is all part of the football instrastructure at the club, and poses the question if our negoatiators are at the very least competent for the job of world football negotiations.
Still, the jury is out for Murtough and Judge to get this seasons targets over the line.

50m for a world class defender who can solidify our defense definitely worth it to me. He is 27 only got 5 to 7 years more to go. Bayern didn't renew alaba's contract because of his wages demand
