then comes the familiar saying "we will sign players when right players are available for the right price"

I'm not saying he's not good. For 100m, he better be great. I'd rather have kane for those crazy figures if being english is a criteria in selecting players.

A good player will fail under the wrong tactics. That's why City lost to Chelsea in UCL and us lost to Villarreal.

Pogba transfer alone can buy whole Villarreal team

QUOTE(zhou.xingxing @ Jun 4 2021, 05:04 PM)
read somewhere we can get for 80 or less this season. but looks like this is going to be either haaland or sancho that leaves them this season. if haaland leaves to other club for a huge fee, then they likely wont release sancho already as money not their issue liao.
*
Dortmund always has good young players.
If Sancho leaves, they still have Brandt, hazard, reus or can always buy new player with the Sancho money

Haaland leaves? 16 y.o. moukoko striker is the next big thing but still need not yet at Haaland level obviously. Haaland has 65m release clause I think

I consider that a failure in transfer planning on the part of the club.
They already knew the players on the target list back in March.

Since it is hard to buy player now, because most of the target is already with EURO squad, we should focus on selling and loaning out players that is not participate in EURO, e.g. Martial, AP, young players.

But the transfer team is just really weak. So far only confirmation releasing of U23 players. Even Tom Heaton is not finalized, damn.

Wonder what he is on, we are no where close to them.
Next season we will definitely go back to where we belong.

What a great move by AC Milan. They really give it to Raiola and Donnaruma. I hope other clubs follow suit and stop dealing with Raiola and his clients. And by other clubs I mean our club.

world class DM mana? We need a DM, CB and RW in that manner. Striker not a must since Cavani signed an extension.

Arsenal plotting Neves swoop (The Times)
Portuguese star touted for Emirates switch

Arsenal are plotting a summer swoop for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves - according to The Times.
The Gunners see the 24-year-old as a potential replacement for Dani Ceballos, who is set to return to Real Madrid after the expiration of his latest loan deal at Emirates Stadium.
Neves has two years remaining on his contract at Wolves and could be available for around £35 million ($50m) this summer.

Well well, potentially there goes the CDM signing that we were discussing the past few months.
Those folks who thought Neves would fit into our CDM position....prepare for disappointment. Not just on the pitch we concede first, even in transfers we seem to be missing out the early transfers.

"Arsenal close in on Neves

Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, according to Todofichajes.
The Portugal international is believed to have agreed a four-year contract with the Gunners.

A fee has yet to be agreed between the two clubs however, with Neves valued in the region of €40 million (£34m/$49m)."

We are used to conceding first as long as get our 2nd to 4th choice transfer target, then everything will be fine. No one cares about getting top transfer target. It's only to soothe the ego of some managers. We'll be okay with our 2nd to 4th choice👌
