Tan Sri Fumihiko Konishi is a chemistry graduate from Tokyo University of Pharmacy in 1966, after studying English, he traveled abroad to different country finally deciding to settle in Malaysia in 1968.
At first he was penniless and have difficulty finding foreign work permit in Malaysia, he soon work in a Chemical dye trading company in Singapore, gaining contacts and experience in the process.
Using his chemical knowledge, he started Fumakilla in Penang (now Texchem), he have since started over 70 businesses which more than 20 failed, he now owns 45 companies which includes Sushi King and seafood production company in Myanmar.
In 2007, he was awarded the title of "Tan Sri" by Agong for his contribution to the economy of Malaysia.
More interested in entrepreneurship, he leaves the running of the company to his CEO while he focus on launching new businesses which now include bio degradable and environmental friendly solutions.

16. How to deal with strong people in negotiation (Understand their appetite, draw a deal breaking line, strong man have ego, do not be angry)
17. How do turn hostile people into friend (People are weak in groups, so they act tough and hostile. Facing "one person" that person will be your friend, never compromise on "trust", deal in negotiation alone to show that you are in charge and as a person)
18. How to apologize (draw a black and white line in business, do not apologize for the sake of calming down the matters (insincere), what people want is justice, do not run away from responsibility.)
19. First class people care about health as well as study and work.
20. Make anxiety your friend (do not let anxiety turn into desperation, let it concentrate your nerves in analyzing the conditions)
21. Just be happy with your life, you don't have to look great by other people's standard (Self content)
22. Failure is a part of life, suck it up and do not trouble others.
23. Success is not a matter of capability but a matter of ambition.
24. Other than guts, be optimistic and creative in solving problems even using extreme measures.
25. People who work for the benefit of their family is trustworthy, no need loyalty for the company, be good and considerate to your employee's family and they will be loyal.

Singapore kasi dia?
He have to drive more than 5000km to do sales for Singapore company, kena diao Chinese because he is a Japanese.

I forgot to add that he mentioned to be patient while working for others, stay at a particular job for at least 5 years.
He work for far lower income than in Japan for 6 or 7 years before setting up his own after gaining enough contacts and capital in the region, he can stay to do so because he have a clear objective. (ie he didn't work for an income, but work so that he can set up a business)

I don't think so, I just happen to saw it randomly.
Maybe it would be interesting if an English translated version be published, I'll shoot a mail to Texchem and the publisher and see what I may hear from them.
